Zary shook her head even though the almost extreme flash of jealousy in his eyes should have alarmed her. She truly could not feel any fear at all towards this man. That snarl as he uttered the word ‘mine’ had done the total opposite of what she should have felt or responded like.

A robot being all jealous and possessive should have sent alarms blaring through her, scare her even. But then… was this man truly a robot. She somehow could not think that way anymore. She remembered that she had told herself that night that she would no longer believe that Sam was just a normal robot anymore.

“You don’t scare me, Sam.” She whispered to him as she cupped his face between her hands, then lifted his face to look at her.
