Chapter 24

AUTHOR P.O.V.

In the morning Y/n woke up and immediately went inside her babies' room. She looked at them, and found that they both were sleeping peacefully. She smiled looking at them. But it soon, replaced into sorrow. From the day, Taehyung and all of them were attacked, she have been tensed. She doesn't care for her safety or life, but her babies. She cannot risk them, at any cost. They are her last light to life. She cannot loose them. 

Now her will to get away from Taehyung increased even more. But the fire that was eloping in her for revenge, haven't dimmed, its still there. She wants to take revenge from Taehyung for killing her parents, and for making her life a living hell. She's waiting for the right time. 

Meanwhile, Taehyung entered inside his basement room. He smirked looking at the man. He sat on the chair, like a king he is. 

"P-Please let me go, sir. I was just given orders, to do that." pleaded the man, who lied infront of him, covered in blood. Taehyung only looked at him with his dangerous orbs. He didn't had any remorse or mercy for the man. Afterall why would he have any mercy to the man, who tried killing his Y/n, his babies and his younger brother. For Taehyung his family and loved ones, are most important element of his life. He can die, but can never let them leave, him. 

Taehyung stood up and walked towards him. He squatted down, making the man squirm in terror. He tried backing away, but the wall made him stop. Taehyung grabbed his jaw in a firm grip and made him look into his eyes.

"Who send you?" the man gulped. He thought of not telling him the truth, but he'll kill him, and if he told the name, then his boss will kill him. So, whatever he does, he'll have to die. He thought for a second. 

"If I t-told you the name, w-will you let me go?" Taehyung eyed him for a minute, then smirked. 

"I will let you go, but if you lied, then you'll visit hell." Man gulped and opened his mouth to tell him the name. 

"Dmitri Knight." Taehyung furrowed his brows in confusion. Why would Russians attack him?? He haven't done anything to have grudges with them. 

He looked at the man, for a sec. He stood up and signaled his men. 

"Let him go." The man smiled in happiness. After letting him free, he bowed infront of Taehyung and thanked him. After when he was gone, he called for his most trusted man. 

"Have an eye on him." 

"Yes, boss." 

With that Taehyung went out. He came upstairs in his room. He looked around, but didn't find Y/n anywhere. He walked into the babies' room, and found her playing with them. He smiled looking at his world. They meant everything to him. 

But soon his smiled disappeared. He don't know why, but now whenever he looks at Y/n he feel a pang in his heart. The moment he looks into her eyes, he remembers all the time, when he hurt her, torture her, without any mercy. He felt guilty, upon his past actions. He wanted to apologize from her, but doesn't have the willpower to do so. He can't even show his face, to her after what he did to her. And here she's living with her rapist and murdered of her parents. She doesn't disobey him, now. But now he doesn't feel any happiness, upon seeing her all lifeless and numb infront of him. 

He want back that Y/n who was fierce like a lion, who used to push him, away, who used to fight back. Where is that Y/n??? Then it hit him, that he killed her. He killed that old Y/n. Now she's left with nothing to posses as hers. She's broken. And only lifeline she's left with her is her babies. 

Taehyung immediately went away from there. He didn't had the audacity to talk with her. He came to his office room and opened his laptop. He called Yoongi. 

"Hello, hyung did you got the information?" 

"Yes, Taehyung." 

"So, what is it?" 

"So, according to my research. They attacked you not because they have some grudges against you, but someone, said to do so. The Russian did that after someone's saying, they only wanted to have South Korea, under them, nothing more, nothing less." 

"But who might have told them to attack on me and my family?" he asked being confused. Yoongi, sighed and looked at him. 

" It someone who was really close to Kim mansion. Did you fired any guard or maid?? or banished them from Korea, ?? Or killed someone's family?" 

Taehyung thought for a second, then suddenly something hit him. 

"Yes, I did fired a bitch, who was practically obsessed with me. She even manipulated Y/n in helping her to sleep with me." 

"Fuck." Yoongi cursed hearing him. 

"Her name was Corie, she's from Russia I guess."

"Ok wait, let me check." Yoongi searched on his laptop, and after sometimes, when, he found the desired information. He showed it to Taehyung. 

"Some weeks ago, Corie was seen with Dmitri Knight. I think she whore with him and manipulated him attacking on you. But the question is why would they believe a mere girl??" 

"That's the same thing, I'm thinking hyung. Or may be she might have lured him into doing it. She was working in this mansion for many years, So, she might have lured him with some information about my business, and money." 

"Hmmm you're right, Dmitri is a really greedy man. He can do anything for money, power and position. And as long a I remember we have always been a threat to Russian, so, they had a really strong reason to attack on you and killing you." 

"I can understand killing me was a reason, but why Y/n, my children and Jungkook." 

"Well, Corie doesn't have problem with Y/n, so she might have told him to attack you at the time when she was with you and about Jungkook, he was just in the wrong time, at the wrong place." 

"Hmmm." Taehyung looked down, thinking about something.

"What are you thinking about Taehyung?" asked Yoongi, while eating his Ramen. 

"Nothing much, hyung. I was thinking of increasing the security and other stuff." 

"Ithighkuduegjfsgdu." Taehyung made a weird face and looked at him. 

"Speak after eating hyung." Yoongi gulped down hid ramen and then told him.

"I think you should also forbid, Y/n and Jungkook for going out." 

"Hmm I will." 

"Ok then I'll talk to you later, I've to sleep after eating. Your niece and nephew, didn't let me sleep yesterday." he said addressing to his kids. Taehyung nodded his head and switch off the laptop. 

Soon at the Dinner time, Y/n and Jungkook were seated on their usual place. Babies were sleeping so, it was peace. Taehyung cleared his throat, seeking attention from both of them. 

"I want you all to stay in the house, for some weeks. You're not allowed to go in the garden as well." Jungkook rolled his eyes and said in frustration. 

"Why?? You can't cage me in this shitty house of yours." 

"I'm saying all these for your safety. The attack that day happened, that day, was done by Russian. They can do the same, if they want again. So, we need to be careful." 

"Russians??" 

"Yes." 

"But why would they attack us??" asked Jungkook, even though he's singer, but still contains blood of a Mafia, so he keeps information about every Mafia.

"They want my place." said Taehyung, not stretching the whole details to him. Jungkook furrowed his brows, but decided to obey him anyway. With that they all started eating their dinner in silence. Y/n on the other hand was scared for her babies. What if they attacked their house?? No no, she cannot loose her kids. She need to keep her babies safe, at any cost.
