Chapter 73: Taking Care

"What's the matter?" Henry Russell opened the door and asked the person standing there.

"Doctor Russell, something's wrong. I don't know how these reporters got up here, but now they're surrounding Lucas Carter's room, clamoring for interviews."

Henry Russell exchanged a glance with Charlotte Cooper, and they hurried over.

About a dozen reporters surrounded Lucas Carter's room, with Lucas's sister trying to keep them from entering.

Henry Russell pulled out his phone to call his assistant. He ordered that all media be informed that they are not allowed to report today's events.

The reporters turned their heads upon spotting Charlotte Cooper, turning to her en masse, thrusting their microphones into her face.

"Miss Cooper, is it true that you nearly had an accident on set?"

"Do you have anything to say about Mr. Carter risking his life to save you?"

"Some people say there's been an ongoing secret affair between you two, is that right?"
