I could see the reluctance on Archer's face as he went up to the stage while Claudia linked her arms with him. I could feel my limbs trembling, and I wanted to get out before Carlos could humiliate me, but it felt like my feet were cemented on the ground.

"Good evening, once again, our dearest guests and friends; I know this is an extraordinary day for our family as we celebrate the eighteenth birthday of our beloved daughter, Andrea." He declared as he looked at the audience with a beautiful smile on his face.

"But Teresa and I couldn't wait to announce another exciting news that I am sure you will love to hear. Many women chased our son because those girls knew Archer was the successor of my empire, and tonight I wanted to make them stop using my son, and I couldn't wait to tell you all about the engagement between Archer and Claudia." He added.
