She got off the phone and turned to Hendrick and told him it was her dad who had just called her and he wanted them to come by for lunch or dinner but she declined and told him that they would go on Sunday which was the D day he was going to say and do it was very good that he had a business mindset that was one advantage because her father loved young businessmen.

They went through the agreement with her lawyer and the deal was done and dusted.

The next being a Saturday, they went out to ring shopping and Hendrick picked out a diamond ring and did what any man in a relationship who wanted to marry his girlfriend would do.

He got down on one knee and pop the obvious and she agreed and she couldn't bear to call her father and tell him she had been engaged.

Mr. McBright didn't think anything of how fast everything was going he was just excited his daughter was finally being the person he wanted her to be.

Gael and Hendrick moved into the new Apartment on Saturday Daniella helped with the moving. It was tiring and exhausting so after they had gotten everything into the house Gael went to the kitchen and made some soup so they all had it and she left for her home so she could rest and prepare for the engagement party and also to let all her father's socialite know when the wedding was going to take place.

Daniella felt everything was going too fast and thought it would not be realistic but that was far from it when she got to her Fathers mansion in a silver jumpsuit and silver stilettos and her hair in a tight bun with minimal makeup and Hendrick putting on a black suit and his hair styled back in a sleek method. He looks so yummy.

Hendrick the gentleman he was opened the car door for her once they had arrived at her father's house she came out and kissed him on the cheek which took him unawares but then he regained himself cause it was all for show and they had to make everyone believe they were so much in love and couldn't keep their hands to themselves, the butler opened the door for them and when they got in the guest area was filled with lots of big business tycoons and their sons or daughters who were trying to learn the business language and how to communicate in business settings.

Hendrick was looking at everything going in trying to learn the way they presented themselves so that he would not fail Daniella in impressing her Father, for all he knew she was trying so hard to get her father to accept her, and it kind of meant something to her so he wanted to do that and for the money, of course, it was a win-win situation.

"Dannie, My Darling, how are you?" her father came towards her and also hugged her and kissed her forehead come on in, he said and turned to Hendrick he gave him a huge smile "Oh, Dannie he is such a fine young man, he said extending a hand to Hendrick fit a handshake. They shook hands together and her father showed the both of them to his friends with a proud smile on his face he kept on gushing at how beautiful a couple they looked and no one could agree any less for they looked so in love and sweet towards each other.

Her father proposed a toast to their engagement and there and then they all turned for chit-chatting the other young female daughters came to check out Daniella's ring, well something to gossip about.

They were never ones to share secrets or happiness with because they always ended up sharing the news around and it brought a lot of problems.

She turned around impatiently looking for Hendrick when she spotted him amidst her father and his business friends her heart skipped a bit and she so wished he didn't slip and everything went as planned.

The ladies in front of her noticed where she was looking and they all awed at her

" I wish I could find love so genuine like you, one said. Another said, "The way he looks at you, just as if you are the only one in the room I wish to have something like you both".

She just smiled at them and told them that she got that man because they work together to make their relationship strong and successful.

A lie she said but felt confident about it as if what she said was so real, she was still looking at him when one of the girls nudged her and told her to stop looking for him cause he was with her dad and the girls would not take him from her, she laughed and they tried chit-chatting for a bit about girlie stuff.

Hendrick at the other end of the room was getting comfortable with her dad, her father mentioned a problem he was having with the finance department, and almost immediately, Hendrick a solution, and this even beamed the likeness he had grown to have towards him in the last hours they had just spent together, he smiled with pride knowing his daughter didn't disappoint him when it came to her husband. The day of the wedding was set to be in a month, I mean the excitement her dad had for the wedding he didn't want to want any longer to walk her down the aisle, he stated he was going to take care of all the expenses of the wedding from the hall to the honeymoon part all they had to do was sit and be wowed on their big day.

This excited Daniella because she was seeing the sweet side of her father even if it meant just for a short period she knew it was worth it. They called it a night and Mr. McBright set up a meeting so Hendrick could help him out with the Finance department of his company to see things straight with the records. She hugged her dad and they left for home.
