|Empty zone between all realms|
'At least, i got to say.. goodbye.' A man thought to himself, slowly putting his hand up to his face. His purplish white hair hanging around his closed eyes.
Nothing else could truly be heard in this dark realm, except for the rhythmic sound of a drip that echoed. Each melodic drip changed the world from darkness to light as it was ever changing.
"What is going on? This noise? This feeling.. huh? i can still feel." The man listened, finally coming back to the world around himself. He looked up at his hand, he didn't understand as he felt no pain. His arm he had lost was back and he didnt feel a wound in his chest like before.
"Uh, so, how long do you think he'll be like that?" In a space cut apart from this plain, there was something like a mirror that looked into it.
"I don't know, I mean just like you. He did just die not long ago. Seeing as that's the point I took him from, I think it will take him awhile to adjust." A feminine yet other worldly voice spoke, standing next to a man who was no older then 24.
"I guess your right, I didn't take it well when I first came to this place either. Well letting him take his time.. Uh, goddess?" The young man said, looking back as the woman started to walk away.
Her long, loose pink kimono, did nothing to hide her curves, her ass moving side to side as her long white hair that went down to the middle of her back swayed. Her hand to her side, pointed up as the young mans eyes followed, seeing her face full of amusement as she summoned two chairs and a table.
"You are the only human who would look at me without lust, but interest. I did good In bringing you here. There is no need to stand there, I will know when he is ready. Come sit." The goddess said with a smile at this strange human, his eyes looking at her with nothing more then Curiosity.
"Yeah i mean it is your realm, so of course you would know. And you do interest me, finding out gods are real was big enough of a surprise, then being killed by a random brick." The young man said, walking over to the table and sat down.
"A well place brick indeed.." the goddess spoke in a low voice, covering her mouth with her sleeve.
"What was that?" The man asked, unable to hear her as he looked at the worlds around him.
"Nothing, but I want to know still. You were brought here and could go anywhere? Ask for 3 wishes with in my power? Why did you waste it on this? Do you not wish to live again? Go on any adventure? Maybe be with any woman you wanted from any world?" The goddess ignored what I asked, leaning back in the chair as she crossed her legs. Her cherry red lips opening as she placed her finger in front of them.
"All be it, 24 was not a long life, I did live and I did what I wanted while i lived. All in the nature of humans, made money, had sex, got into fights, learned that the world wasn't all black and white. I know, I spent a lot of my time and money on anime and manga but that was worth it as well. Just seeing something like this makes, up, for it.. all." The man said, his voice slowly trailing off as he looked up, seeing the vortex of two worlds collide. Seeing them burst apart as they rained down in different brilliant lights on him and the goddess.
"Truly, a strange man. But this is your wish.. so I will grant it as I said i would.. even if it is such a waste." The goddess spoke, reaching out her hand as she grabbed a orb, it looked like a world. She blew on it as it grew, while other planets were formed around it as she opened her hand, watching as it floated back into the infinite.
"You keep saying that, but I am.. grateful, you let me see something so beautiful." The man said as he let out a genuine smile. Looking at the goddess who only shook her head, blushing a little as she stood.
"Your welcome, are you ready?" The goddess said, standing and walking over to the mirror again.
"Yes, it's about time I moved on." The man said, looking up at the universes one more time before walking forward.
"Is, is this the after life, this place? Or something like hell?" The man who had been laying on the ground, finally leaned up.
Talking to himself as he looked around at the world, which only stayed black now.
"This is not hell, you are somewhere far removed from your past life." A woman's voice reached his ears, looking around the man saw as some kind of door was opened.
"Apart from my past life? What do you mean? What is going on?" The man asked, seeing a woman in a uptight fully covered suit, no curves or anything. Standing as he looked at her steps.
'When the hell, did she change?' The young man thought who was behind the large woman now.
Each step she took shook the world, as patterns of stars and galaxies formed, spreading out as they disappeared. Finally coming to stand in front of the man as she looked down.
"You are dead, yet not.. you are no longer in that world you once knew, you are in my realm." The goddess said as the world came to life, as spirals of galaxies all around flashed, then quickly returned to black.
'Is it some kind of ability? But I feel nothing from her? So an ability that conceals oneself as well?' The man thought, trying to figure it out.
"Stop with the over thinking, it is no ability. I swear beings from any other world but earth have this problem." The goddess said, opening her hand as she forcibly put information into the man's mind.
The man sat there frozen, trying to comprehend the information and slowly started to come to understand. Looking around the world with his ever closed eyes he let out a strange smile.
"So my world, it was only the fantasy of another. Just ideas put on paper and brought to life. Then my struggle.." the man wanted to say, only to be cut off.
"No your world, is very much real. See, cracks form in realms and images from different plains can be seen by those with sight. So everything you went through is true." The goddess said, waving his grief off with her words.
"Then why am I here.. if it is true I failed but it would seem that boy really did it." The man said, looking down as he remembered the look in that orange haired boys eyes as he died.
"Because there is someone, who asked it of me.." the goddess said, ushering the man to step forward.
"What's up, it's nice.. to finally meet you, gin ichimaru." The young man said, seeing gin turn his head as he looked at the young man.
"Now why would you do that.. is there something you wish to gain from.." gin was going to say, until, he saw the look in the young mans eyes and the words he spoke.
"I wish to gain nothing, I brought you here.. to give you another chance, to live again and try to do what you wished over again. That is all.." the young man said, his black eyes honest as he looked at gin.
"You would ask me to live again, why.. what is the point of lying!" The usually calm gin was overcome with emotion, he knew he did not see lies or hear them in the young mans words. But the idea of being able to go back, to do it again was not something he thought possible.
Before the young man could speak again, the goddess put her hand down. Snapping her fingers as the young man froze, walking up to gin as she looked at him step back but look at her.
"Even if I understand your reason for acting that way, the young man holds no lies, and even you know that. I do not care for your sad existence, that man gave up everything for you to come back." The goddess said, her eyes glowing as she stepped back.
"Gave up everything?" Gin asked confused, with a strange feeling in his chest.
"He, he will no longer be in any world. With the wish brought forth from his soul, he gave it all up, for you. So you could right your wrongs and.. live again." The goddess said, looking back at the young man.
"May I, may I speak to him again?" Gin said, after awhile of thinking, he shook his head and asked the goddess. She nodded as she snapped her fingers again, as the young man came back.
"Kid, what's your name?" Gin asked in a calm voice, looking at the young man.
"It's, akiro.." akiro said, nodding his head a litttle.
"If you don't mind, I wish to ask you something?" Gin walked forward a little, his smile no longer there as he asked akiro.
"Anything you wish, if I can answer it.. then I will." Akiro said with a smile.
"Why is it? Out of all people.. you asked for me to live again?" Gin stopped a few feet away, seeing the goddess step back as they looked at each other.
"I thought that.. that question might come up. If the goddess showed you my world, you must know there are many, who struggle and suffer across many worlds." Akiro looked up, to the galaxy like sky above, which flickered in and out. Gin only stood there and waited for the man akiro to finish.
"But your story, it always felt different to me.. no matter how they painted you, you did it all, for the person most Precious to you.. for that I do not think you are wrong. No matter how I looked at it, I could not see what was wrong, because.. well because I would do the same, I would sell my soul to darkness, if it meant.. the one I love could regain what was taken from them, I would gladly give up my light." Akiro spoke, each word echoing in gins and the goddess's ears. Seeing as he only smiled at this even knowing fully, what this wish meant.
"Your a strange kid, you know that akiro?" Gin said, making akiro freeze as he felt a hand on top of his head. Smiling a actual smile as he stopped akiro from speaking.
"Even saying that, and knowing all this.. I can not accept." Gin said leaning his body down as akiro's eyes opened.
"But why.." Akiro tried to say as he was cut off.
"I, I have lived along time, more time then many of your kind would wish for.. during that time, I did many things, Lied and killed for the sake of one person.. to the point the line between lie and truth started to blur. You said you saw no wrong in my action, but I do all the time.. maybe, maybe if I chose a different path I would not be here. I would be able to be with that person but I did not.." gin said, rubbing akiro's head a little more as he let go.
"But you can, now you have a.." akiro once again wanted to speak but only heard gins words again, they were soft and full of understanding.
"No, I can't.. I have already done it.. i killed and sacrificed many for the sake of my goal alone, I can not, and I will not, let anyone die for that again. It is something I must carry, is that not the reason I died for?" Gin asked looking at this world closely for the first time, seeing the stars collide as his eyes opened a little.
"That is the point gin, rangiku, the captains, your life. All of it will start over, with you knowing what you do now." Akiro said, not understanding why gin was being like this.
"While that does sound nice, I can not.. not as I am now." Gin said, hearing rangiku's name he walked passed akiro, putting his hand on his head again, while he spoke something in his ear.
"Gin, that was my only wish.. even if I had to.." Akiro wanted to say.
"Even if, even if you had to give up your very existence. You know akiro, you are a lot like me. So I have a favor to ask of you.. please try, try and right my wrongs.. and take care of rangiku.. the way I never could." Gin said, shocking akiro as he saw crystals fall from gins eyes as he walked passed him.
"Hey goddess." Gin spoke as he walked off in to the darkness.
"Yes." The goddess spoke, even if she knew.
"I have one wish.. let this man, let akiro take my place.." gin said as he walked out more.
"Gin don't.." Akiro wanted to say but heard something.
"For all the wrongs I have done, I am sorry.. rangiku.. I could not keep my promise to you.. but, but someone else can right.. akiro?" Gin said as his body disappeared slowly.
".. I I..I promise..gin.." Akiro looked back at gin, seeing him turn as his body faded. Not before seeing his actual smile, and the tears that ran down his face.
"That is, that is truly.. all I could ever want, thank.. you."
