The Heroic Kiss.

It a bright Tuesday morning, school activities commence like before,the students moved to their class room for lecture. Activities were going proper.

In the Twelfth grade classroom,every student submitted their assignments and the waits for the first period subject teacher to come in.This time around the Twelfth grade students were quite and focused they knew they had to work had for upcoming exams and impromptu test from Mrs Wong,so their class was so quiet like a graveyard.But some of them tries to whisper and smile.Not quite long,Mr Allen the Geography teacher came in with smile and greeted the students "Good morning to you all,how was your night?" the students answered and they all settled down then Mr Allen speaks "To those that are not offering Geography I will still treat you all the same because you are one Twelfth grade student,but I hate noise and distracted is that noted?" the students replied "yes" then Mr Allen continues his teaching " I will justify every assignments later but I want you all to realise something as I will be teaching I will also be sharing some things with you,but firstly let's write down our topic for to day MAPPING." Mr Allen explains "Map is pictorial,it is use to identify the vegetation,size,shape and topography of an area.It could be a city,state or country.Colourations aids a lot in maps" suddenly Mr Allen diverged into another topic,then he says " Hello Twelfth grade students,do you know you are a map to your self and to your dreams,so therefore you have to draw the magnitude in a big way to suit your dreams.I want you all to make your exams okay.i love you all and I want your hardwork to reflect in your results" Mr Allen continues "Well I have a good news for you,this time around lecture won't be cumbersome for you,so we the teachers had a meeting with Mrs Wong and we agreed to give you assignments and to also give a comprehensive handout in all subjects.I am so sure that if you all read and understand the handout that will be given to you from the first page till the last page for every of your subject,you gonna pass your exam in flying colours"

Mr Allen still speaks " I will round up this class now the Jeff should follow me to the staff room to get those prepare handouts for everyone.As from now the handout will serve as your teacher. For example if you are having physics right now,do not wait for you teach to come before you start working on your handouts at that subject periods,is that noted?" The students replied and then Mr Allen went Jeff to the staff room to get the handouts.

Few minutes later,Jeff came in with load of handouts,so Tracy came out to help him in the sorting and distribution of the handouts.After everyone got their copy they all scale through the pages,also Jeff stood and views his own copy on the table at the forefront of the class.Everyone was thoughtful this time around and the class was silent,they now knew the time has come to burn the midnight oil.Then Teema talked as others still scale through the handout " I guess everyone should know we have no time to play with our academics this time around.The school had really save us from stress by making this handout.Therefore our responsibility is to read and understand" then Jeff replies as his head still remains bend focusing on his handout "Yes I agree Teema,this handout will really help us if we can read everything and understand" Tony also commended as he shows Teema a diagram with easy illustration "See Teema this is easy to memories not like out textbooks" Joe replies "Yes it even has short and accurate definitions.The whole class realize that their success is in their hands now the school has done it's best.

Then they head out for break and came in quickly...

Few minutes after break was over, Mrs Wong and Terry came in to Twelfth grade class.She was amazed as she saw all the students working on their handout.Then she greets and pass her information " Wow my beautiful's I love what you are all doing" Annie replies as she smiles"Thank you ma" Joe commended "Thanks Mrs Wong"

Then Mrs Wong Continues "You should keep it up,I can see you have your handouts now.please study it okay" roughly Terry interrupted "Yeah! it's alright where is Joe?".The whole class looked at him in an odd ways since he interrupted Mrs Wong then Joe raised up his hand from the back seat and says "Here I am Sir" then Tracy replies Terry with a facked smiley face "Sir,here he his hope no problem with Joe"

Instantly Mrs Wong talked for herself "Oh no cutie I only came to inform Joe to prepare for a basketball match that will come up next week Friday at the school stadium it competitive though, because it a match hosted by Brittany Academy so Joe is part of those representing Swelview.So please come to my office when you close"

Joe's class mate were happy for him and they all celebrated him then Mrs Wong with Terry to her office.

Tracy was also happy that her boyfriend has joined the Swelview basketball team and he seems to be the hope of winning the match as Mrs Wong has illustrated.

Within that moment everyone suspended their handouts and began to celebrate and hail Joe.He was happy and excited to but he was surprised that Mrs Wong could pick him because they are also good basketball player in the other grades so he spoke out,then he says as he held his jaw " Well thanks guys but I surprised that Principal Wong could fix me in Swelview basketball team because she has never seen me play before so how could she trust in me."

Then Walter answers "Well for Mrs Wong she likes Twelfth grade and she know believe we are the best" Joe replies "Really that's cool I promise to surprise her and every student in Swelview Highschool".

They all rounded up the discussion and went back to their studying...They did these till closing time,the alarm dings and everyone prepare to go home.So Joe had to go to Principal Wong office but his girlfriend told him she is gonna go with him.Joe agreed and they both went but Tracy sat outside Principal Wong office then Joe went in.

Quickly Principal Wong attends to him,she says "Joe I know you play basketball,you told me when you came for admission into Swelview but I haven't seen you play" Joe replies "Yes Principal Wong,but I promise to be good in the upcoming match" Mrs Wong replies " I know because I trust in my Twelfth grade beautiful's,that's why I chose you". Stylishly as Principal Wong talks Joe was looking back to check Tracy if she was still outside,he could see her because Mrs Wong's office is made with glass.So Principal Wong noticed and asked "Joe who are you looking at?" then she tries to find out herself then she says "Is that not Tracy?" Joe replies "Yes she is,she is waiting for me"

Then Mrs Wong replies as she smiles "i guess she is your girlfriend,I saw her reaction to Terry when I came to your class" Joe also replies with a cheerful smile " Yes she is."

Mrs Wong says "Take things easy with her okay and never hurt her,you are lucky to have her.You can leave now thank you". Then Joe left happily and he returned to the hostel with Tracy...

When Tracy and Joe reached home,Tracy shows concerned and also made her boyfriend smile.Tracy opened the door then dragged Joe to her room.Joe sat on her room as Tracy held him on his shoulder and says " Joe look up,you are my hero and you got this don't think about it I know the crowd will focus on you because you are new in the school team but never mind I know you gonna blow their mind that day" then Joe replies as he drags her to sit by his side,he says " Thank you Tracy,I promise not to let you down" Then Tracy added "Well I have never seen you play but I do see you watch basketball on your phone and also am gonna follow you to training tommorow evening" she then drags Joe cheeks and smiles as she says "Go freshen up and let's go get lunch in the hostel kitchen is almost time for lunch". Thereafter Joe went to his room happily and he freshen up.Same to Tracy too and they both head to the hostel kitchen.

All together the students living in the hostel came to the kitchen to have their meal so everyone took their meal from the chef stand and went to sit with their friends.Tracy and Joe also did the same,this two are perfect with the smiles on their face as they eat their food.On the other hand Teema was happy that David will visit her later in the day also David's roommate Annie was on the same table and she seems to be jealous of the visitation so she went to Walters table she greeted "Hi Walter,hi Jessica,hi Jeff" those are the people on Walter's table. So Annie moved closer to Walter and whispers into his left ear "I will like you to come to my room tonight." then Walter replies silently as he frown his "Oh no why, don't you know it's not my picked date and perhaps have you forgotten the rule Jeff stated on the voice chat recently" then Annie replies as Jeff and Jessica stands up to return their plate "Yes I know,but hmmm....I can't sleep alone and most importantly I want you to help me with my assignments.You are nice to me in class and I also want that attitude to night". Walter sighs then talks " oh...oh...oh okay I will come but will I still come tommorow" Annie replies smiling "Yes" Walter replies uncalmly "but the security will notice if I come into your room consecutively.

Luckily for Annie, Walter accepted and they both left to their apartment as other students also did.

Night came,then David tries to sneak to Teema's room,he almost got caught by the security but the cleaner safed him.

It was 10pm in the night,David know they will only be security at the entrance and exit of the hostel by this time so he made a call and told Teema to unlock her then Teema did as she was asked to do, stylishly and quietly opens the door and came out to the passage.Teema's room was two rooms away from David so he sneak but unfortunately he hit his leg on a metal trash bin and then this alerted the security and David was shocked and frightened as the security asks " Hey you! where are you going by this time.You are meant to be asleep" David answers coldly "Huh huh I, am Huh" then the aged cleaner came to meet the security to let him go.The cleaner say "Leave him Mister he was coming from the store and let him enter his room" she says as she points to Teema's room.

Fortunately the security guard went back to his post of duty,then David was grateful and thank the cleaner but he was so amazed that the cleaner refered to Teema's room as his room then he asks the cleaner "Ma do you know I was going to meet Teema" the cleaner answer " Yes I know...Two days ago I went to Sam the roommate of Jeff" David interrupted "You mean the Rock 'n' Roll guy" the cleaner continues "Yes,I was doing some mopping in his room then I overheard all the Twelfth grade students plan about visiting your girlfriend..That's it please be careful I think your plans are too dangerous".David was shocked but also happy on the other hand for not been reported by the hostel security.So he thanks the cleaner and went into Teema's room...

Unknowingly to David and the cleaner,that Teema has been listening to the scenerio.Then she feel relieved when David was able to make it to his room....She insisted that Joe's plan has to be eliminated and everyone should stay in their rooms till whenever they see their girlfriends.Quickly Teema gave David a warm hug and they both sat and solve the question in Teema's assignment.

It's the next morning.Every students in the hostel woke up 5:00am when the alarm dings,so David returns to his room to prepare for school.As he enters into his apartment,Kayla greeted with jokes added too "Hey David how was last night with Teema I guess you both had a nice time" but David replies uncheerful "Huh! not that bad but I almost got caught,in fact I got caught but the cleaner safed me I will gist you all in class" Kayla says as David goes to his room "Whar! that was unfortunate I guess things aren't messed up last night,Jeff has to hear this".

Fortunately every student in the hostel got dressed and went to the kitchen for breakfast before they go to school.Everyone hurried but the aggressive pink lady couldn't catch up with time because she spent her night agueing with her boyfriend...There after everyone made it to school and they all went to their respective class rooms.

David and Kayla was busy discussing about last night incident,then Jeff rushed in with smile to embrace David about his night...But Jeff was shocked and speechless when he heard what had happened and how all their plans got leaked to the cleaner.So Jeff and everyone students cancelled the plan and they all had to move on with normal class.Therefore no more night sneaks, everyone can only see themselves in the day time.But only Joe and Tracy still remains lucky.

The school has closed for the day so Tracy hangs out with Joe to the school basketball court for Joe's training.

On getting there Joe met the school basketball ball coach Smith Reigns then he exchange pleasantries "Good afternoon sir I am Joe" the coach replies "Oh how are you I guess you are the on Principal Wong was talking about...You are welcome to Swelview basketball team,I am Coach Smith Reigns...You will be holding the fore front position" Joe replies happily "Thank you sir I will do my best to make Swelview win the upcoming match" then Tracy interrupted cheerfully "Huh he'llo sir am Tracy, Joe's friend" Joe replies "Yes she is she came to see me play" then coach Smith replies cheerful "Oh okay you can take your sit over there"

Thereafter coach Smith asks some questions "Joe how old are you? and when have you been playing basketball" Joe replies "I am seventeen and I started playing since Seventh grade when I was twelve" the coach replies "Okay that's nice I will introduce you to your team mates,you should know them most of them are in Eleventh grade and Few are in the Tenth grade then after that I wanna see you play and do some skills".Coach Smith did the introduction and it's time for Joe to play,so he warms up for few minutes then the game begins.This was the part Tracy got all her attention into then she picked her phone to record Joe's performance....

This Training was Four against Four,so Joe was at the front to score.. Amazingly after the referee blew the whistle Joe's team mate made fast pass and move toward their opponent,the ball was passed to Joe's at the right corner then he dribble his opponent and scored with a high jump.Tracy was excited and she gave a round of applause the coach was also excited and interested more in Joe because he seems to show great skill with accuracy...

Ten minutes of training has lead to score record of 30:14, Joe's team was winning.Joe scored 18 goals and gave 6 assist in the friendly match...The coach was happy to have him and also Tracy too..So they rounded up the training and when home.

As Joe and Tracy head to the hostel Tracy commend Joe for his great skill out there....

It's brand new week and also Four days to the competition,also Twelfth grade students and every other students have been working hard because they knew this day marked the 6th week of resumption and midterm test will commence next week.

On this Monday morning, students passed and walked to the notice board to check the latest update in the school before they head back to school.The update was that mid-term test will commence the coming week and also Swelview will be having a match with Brittany Academy this Friday with Joe's Picture tag with it on the notice board..

This notice made the students of Swelview so eager to witness this special day and on the other hand the students prepares for their test..

However the school activities went proper for the day and the school closed for the day....So Joe has to go for his training but not with Tracy this time.Tracy couldn't go with him because she had to clean the house and had towash both Joe's uniform and her own also...She also intend to read some topics she didn't understand in class so she was so busy.

Luckily for Joe his team mate liked him so they made the training easy for him due to teamwork..Joe was happy with himself and his teammate then he offered some words as he stops bouncing the ball "Hey guys let's come together,we all know after today's training we are gonna have three-days left to the competition and also we are preparing for test on the otherhand but he have the chance to win...We all have to be connected to oneanother to achieve the best" everyone in the team appreciated Joe and gave him around of applause...Time pass and they ended the training for the day.Everyone went home to do some other things.

Tuesday came again like it's a dream and the school activities went on smoothly, teacher were busy attending to lecture and also documenting their subject questions for next week.Everyone was focused and also waiting for the day of competition to come.In Twelfth grade class now,they all show concerned about Joe...It was 6th period of the day wish is the free period for relaxation for twelfth grade students before the school finally close for the day..With all the time of studying from 1st period till 6th period they never had a chance to gist.But luckily free period was lively and relaxing.

Suddenly Kayla standup from her sit as she stretch and says"Huh! my butt,am finally through with my book for today I will like to entertain the class" then Walter responded as he drops his own "Oh yeah am in for it,I have been sitting for three period now let's play before closing"Joe also responded as he stands up "Yes am also in but I have to get to the toilet right away"...So Joe left and the whole class had started an untitled discussion.

The discussion was kinda noisy.But suddenly Joe opens the door and came in,the silent Tony askes loudly and with great concern as he face Tracy "Tracy! how has Joe been copping with training and his reading" before Tracy could answer Tony already turned to Joe and says "Bro! come and sit with me,how have you been copping? I noticed i don't see you in the school kitchen and the Chef also talks about you coming late to take lunch."Joe replies "Well it hasn't been easy I come back in the evening after training,all thanks to Tracy she cleans my room and get my uniform washed and also I do go for my lunch immediately I come back that's why miss chef noticed" Tony added "It's alright bro I know you gonna make Twelfth grade proud" Joe replies with smile on his face"Yes I would".

Tony then stood up and drew attention "Hey Twelfth grade beautiful's I guess we can't wait to celebrate Joe on Friday" the whole student responded with gladness....

Time flew and the school closed.As usual Joe has to go for training but this was a surprise when Tracy,Teema and Kayla insisted in following him....Joe was happy with that and they all when to Swelview basketball court..Joe prepare and commence training as the three girls started a discussion where they seated.

Couch Smith meets with Joe and his teammate saying " Good day to you all,I was happy you did training yesterday even without my presence..You all show good attribute...Well I don't have much to say,I all I got is that you should prepare yourself well today because there wouldn't be training tommorow due to the decorations of this court." Joe and his team mates responded then Coach continues "I will text you all if I have any information .And also I got your Jersey right here with me you gonna take it home today.Keep it safe".

The coach gave the Jersey to the players.it has beautiful coloration with each player name and number.Joe got his own and the gave it to the girls to keep it safe for him while he is gonna be training.Tracy,Kayla and Teema admired the Jersey, they snapped it then Kayla used the picture for Used the picture as the Twelfth grade group profile photo on Snapchat.Every of their classmates saw this and was happy and excited they knew the competition is nearer.

As Joe was training,one of his team mate Dax commended "See those girls over there they love your Jersey" he replies "Yes they are my classmates and that one in the middle is my girlfriend" Dax added "She is beautiful and she also has cute friends"

Fortunately,Joe trained for the day and when home with his classmates.

The next day came,the school organization has started preparing for the competition..Twelfth grade students never waste time in the school compound they loved they class so much,so everyone of them were all present and they commended and talked about Joe's jersey and much more exciting,he is playing the fore front position.Joe was happy with his classmates.Suddenly David brought out a guitar and plays it and they all began to rap and dance.This early morning was interesting and cool,Mrs Wong passed by and saw them but couldn't complain because she enjoys the rap and the tune...

Afterall,they settled down and did the Normal class activity.

Everyone in the school was in an excitement mood and the school lectures and learning went smoothly.Later in the day,it was break period so everyone went to get lunch.But Tracy and Joe went to the school basketball ball court to see the decorations, fortunately they were group of people who is working there and they already did a bit out of the decorations."It's was beautiful" Tracy says as she holds Joe's hand "I can't wait to see you performing your great skills out here tommorow" Joe replies as he gave her a side hug "Thanks alot cutie I won't let you down".Then Tracy admires the decoration more "I can't wait to see the complete decorations too it will be so beautiful".After this couple discussion they head back to class.As they back into the school building they saw other students rushing to the school hall,Tracy and Joe knew it was an impromptu assembly from Principal Wong.So they ran as fast as they could in a slow motion..Boom they entered the hall and they both joined the assembly.. Quickly Joe noticed Principal Wong, Terry and Couch Smith had called out his team mate,so he rushed up to join them,then Principal Wong says"Good day students of Swelview,how are you all doing? I know you all know that the basketball competition between Swelview Highschool and Brittany Academy is taking place tommorow.I want you all to cooperate and I know Swelview is going to take the Winning Cup." the students responded cheerful and loudly then Coach Smith took over and says "To you all these are the basketball players for Swelview right here and I know they are familiar with you and most especially Joe because he has been tagged on the notice board.So tommorow they need your support hail them and should till they finally win the match Thank you".Mrs Wong "Thank you all prepare for tommorow.You can all go back to your classroom.Everyone went to their classroom and Mrs Wong,Terry and Coach Smith went back to the office.

Few hours later the school alarm dings and it was closing time.The school was noisy and vibrant because everyone was waiting and discussing with there friends.Later on they all went home...

Later that day in the hostel,the students went for lunch and as they all carry their food from the chef table as usual,it was Joe's turn then the chef congratulated him and she promise to come to the competition tommorow after all the greeting then she added an additional meat for Joe.So happening made Joe the priority talk in the kitchen but they all liked him and urged him to do well in the match.

So with this,Joe was moltivated so he vowed to put all his effort.Thereafter everyone left the kitchen then Joe and his classmates and Tracy walked out of the kitchen together and they all went to their respective rooms...

It was night and Joe was much concerned about tomorrow so he read his basketball comic with Tracy they both laughed and laughed,had a great time...joke and with all these Joe was relaxed then he knew tommorow was gonna be superb.Not quite long Joe and Tracy slept off on Joe's bed till the next morning.

Wooyah!.It was dawn that everyone has been waiting for.As Joe and Tracy noticed it was morning already so they ran to their bathrooms to get ready for today's activity.Likewise every student to they all rushed out of the hostel quickly so as to get to school.

The day has come and surely the event will take place.So with this mindset every student went into their class rooms and settled down to know what's next...To everyone's surprised no teacher came into any class to lecture.Therefore this made the students more relaxed and happy because it seems to be like a free day...

After a while Terry announced that everyone should come assemble into the hall.Instructions was adhered to then Mrs Wong speaks "Welcome everyone the day has come and I want you all to go to the basketball stadium right now and you all should get seated our opponents will be here soon".Before Principal Wong ends her sentence the school driver of Brittany Academy horns loudly which signifies their arrival.

So both the students of Swelview and Brittany assembly at Swelview basketball stadium and the event seems to begin

The referee and the basketball boards were also ready,therefore Couch Smith summons courage to his players like wise the Brittany Academy guys warms up with great determination in there behavior this present time.

Fortunately,the match began as the crowd claps for the players as the walk in to the basketball court.The two teams are ready to showcase their ability.Before the referee blows the whistle,the twelfth grade student were encourage Joe with their noise and chorus "Oh yeah Joe! Oh yeah Joe!!,oh yeah Joe!!!.Joe was excited then you waves to his classmates as he jerk his legs and swings his hand, preparing for the match.

Everything was set all the players were ready,so the announcer says loud with that aid of a speaker "Good day ladies and gentlemen..Today is a friendly competition between the Dunkers of Brittany and the Bulls of Swelview.

Their skill will justify for their team,let's sit and watch the awesome match of today."

Then the referee blows the whistle and the match commence.As the match commence they were indistinct chatter among students of Swelview with a question from a student "Can those so call dunkers really Slam Dunk?" a student replies "I bet they can.Lets watchout for their skills"

The match still continues as the students talks among themselves.The match is 10minutes now with the goal ratio 13:8 the Dunkers are scoring fast this time and the crowd of Brittany school hails with shouts and clap.

Minutes are passing like spread of light but the two teams never relent.The First Quarter has passed with the score of 40:32 and now it's 8minutes in the Second Quarter of the match with the same score readings.The five players of Swelview are working hard and showing fast dribbling skills but the might tall guy always blocks the shot.

Mrs Wong was afraid then she told Smith "Are you sure we could win...I don't want a downfall" Coach Smith replies "Yes sure just watch I got may hope on Joe he has a special technique". The match still continues and the Bulls of Swelview scored baskets consecutively,Joe scored 3 and he gave an assist to Dax at the left corner which ended up an interesting goal.What just happen within 3 minutes drew the attention of the audience to focus on Bulls of Swelview.Then Mr Smith says as he claps happy after the fourth goal "Prinicipal Wong did you just see that? Swelview owns the cup".

Still on the game and it's the Third Quarter of the match time runs fast and scores changes to 65 : 63 the Dunkers are leading and this gave their students and audience to chorus and chant the team name " Dunkers of Brittany!!".But still Joe and his teammate focus and the match proceeds.

The Twelfth grade students were proud of their school basketball team and most especially Joe because he shows great dribbling skills with high jumps which caught attention of the Audience in general. The Twelve minutes of the Third Quarter run off like the speed of light with score record of 96:93. The Dunkers of Brittany are still leading but the Bulls of Swelview keeps a close mark with their score.

The whole players took a break after the end of the the Third Quarter,this break only lasts 3 minutes and the Fourth Quarter of the match commence as the referee blows the whistle. "No time to joke" a team mate says to Dax as the move forward then he replies as he runs to attack "Move it bro no chance to fail". The attention of the Audience was fixed to know who is going to win at 5 minutes of the match.The referee whispers to himself as he checks the time "Seven minutes will judge the winner".

Both team were working had and surprisingly the Bulls scored 2 goals within a minute,and this gave the coach a relief.

Match steps forward but unfortunately for one of Bulls of Swelview player he was hit badly by his opponent and made him not efficient.What happened right now was a big foul from Dunkers of Brittany player,he was removed out of the match then the injured player in Bulls of Swelview was substituted and the match continues.

The score remains 96:95 and the time remains 6minutes but unfortunately for Bulls the Dunkers added a point to their score making 97:95 and this made Couch Smith frightened then he stood up to look out for whats going to happen.

The pressure has arrived, Swelview has to score 3 goals with the remaining 3 minutes.Joe took up to his responsibility.He look at his Jersey and he remembers the day he got it,then he looks at his classmates to as they gear him up to take a move.Joe triggered by when he saw Tracy directing her hand that he should score as fast as possible.Then Joe whipped his sweat very fast and told Dax "Hold on to the back and defend.
