Reunion #2

Alyssia smiled faintly as she passed the two small creatures which rested on the shoulder of Yvie. "You three seem to be doing very well together as always."

Ting puffed up her cheeks while Ton blushed a little bashfully on the shoulders of Yvie.

Yvie had grown more in size and her figure had become very different from how Alyssia had first met her.

She was closer to reaching a mature state and looked very similar to her sister but instead of having a very attractive body and a large chest, Yvie had only grown out in that way a little bit but it was definitely a large growth spurt that she had experienced since the last time Alyssia had seen her.

Yvie looked away revealing a small pout then showed a little hesitation on her face.

Her arms stretched out suddenly and she said in a childish tone. "Are you not going to welcome me properly?"

Alyssia revealed a relieved smile as she walked forward and pulled Yvie into her embrace while lifting her up as her body straightened up from her crouching position. "Ah.. Yvie is so cute. You must of missed me huh?"

She then could feel two hands push against her face as the body in her arms tried to escape her grasp. "Who missed you?"

Alyssia let out a giggle then lowered Yvie to the ground. 'She is still unable to fully her true feelings huh? How cute. While she has grown up a lot from eating well and living healthily, I could feel that she has gained a lot more muscle during this time. She definitely has potential as an assassin or combatant like her sister.'

Alyssia looked forward to the two sisters being reunited but the current situation did not have the best conditions for them to meet yet.

Baby Five was someone who was part of the family of Doflamingo who was still a part of the warlord system.

Crossing him was like challenging or attacking the authority of the Marines and World Government while Baby Five was essentially a slave to the family because of her own desire to be needed by others.

It would still be a long time before she would be respected and not treated like a tool then overcome her own mental scars.

Introducing them both so soon would only make Yvie a target of a Warlord which would kill anyone that got close enough to taking away his convenient pawn.

Alyssia did not need him using his influence as Joker to cause problems for her or the White Storm when he was destined to be defeated and have his major operations destroyed sooner or later.

It was not that Alyssia was fearful of any individual or organisation that she did not act as she pleased and did not take what she wanted, instead it was that provoking them was pointless and there was not much gains in doing so.

For minor reasons which could be solved at a later date, it was not worth making enemies of everyone that she could just so she could solve the situation immediately.

While she had attracted some attention to herself and the White Storm, most of what she attracted was curiosity and interest but things would be very different once she attracted unwanted attention which came with hatred or ill intent.

If a war was started because of her own or others rash decisions then Alyssia would be well aware of the damage that would follow.

While she had confidence to overcome the trials ahead and trusted in her allies, it was usually the average and more helpless people which would be caught in the crossfire and would suffer the most if there was conflicts with any major force in the world.

As Alyssia moved on to the next person, she saw a tall blue haired young woman who was dressed up in a slightly dark green hooded coat and pants which had a camouflage design on them.

There was a long and slender snake wrapped around her while a bow and arrow were on her back.

What stood out the most about her were her sharp dark blue bullseye eyes which very similar to Hawkeye Mihawk.

There was joy and admiration displayed on the face of Sunila as she inspected Alyssia who walked near her. "Ah.. Alyssia, you looked so beautiful and cool when you were fighting."

For almost every woman of Amazon Lily, strength was beauty.

The more strength a person had and displayed it, the more admiration they would gain from those in Amazon Lily.

It was one of the main reasons why Boa Hancock was so loved even though she had some personality problems.

Many of the feats which Alyssia had shown during their first meeting was surprising for Sunila and made her idolise Alyssia in a way.

The continued improvements and larger feats only helped to increase her admiration for Alyssia which had reached a similar level to how she admired Boa Hancock who was her empress.

Alyssia rolled her eyes and responded. "Ahem… be serious please. We are on a mission right now."

Sunila still off her excitement as she patted her chest. "Heh.. you can trust in my abilities! I have definitely grown since you have not seen me."

Alyssia nodded as she left Sunila behind. 'Of course.. she would have a lot of growth since she comes from that place full of female warriors.'

Alyssia walked on and talked to the figure standing there. "Val, assess the area and begin exploration."

Val bowed a little then straightened her back before running around the beach. "Yes master!"

There was a small shield on her back while there was a spear sword sheathed at her waist, the moment that she moved and stopped in various places, there was a light flashing in her eyes as she was scanning the surrounding area.

Anything that was picked up from the outside of the forest or the beach outer area of the island where they were stood had been stored within her memory.

Alyssia stopped once again and spoke to the last person who had been chosen to join on the expedition. "It seems that you had taken up my offer and took my advice seriously."

A small appeared on the face of the man which stood proudly in front of her but he had a very strong presence that could not be overlooked.

He nodded then replied in a calm voice. "I am glad that you let me join this. I expect that this will be full of challenges."

The man who she was talking to was someone who was not part of her crew but was someone who had been recommended by Aizah after seeing his continued results when taking various tasks.

He was someone who was already well known for his boxing abilities and was a previous world champion before Alyssia had shown up.

Since Alyssia had given him some advice and suggested that he seek certain ways to improve himself, he had looked up the White Storm's New World mercenary branches then registered.

It did not take long for him to build up his reputation after completing many tasks.

His Destruction Cannon could break past touch defences and knock out many strong people in the world so adapted very quickly to the life of a mercenary.

Ideo of the long-armed tribe had been approved of by Aizah because of two reasons, one was his abilities while the other was his fame.

It was good for Ideo's public image and the White Storm's if they both work together to achieve a feat that nobody else could.

The former champion and the current champion working together definitely attracted a lot of good publicity which Aizah wished to make use of to promote the image of the White Storm to combat any negativity or doubts others had spread about them.

Aizah had showed her talents a couple of times already but it was not until recently that her true areas of expertise had begun to shine.

Whether it was her approach as a manager, public figure or CEO of a company, none of it could quite match up to her talent for public relations and creating hype for the White Storm.

Alyssia nodded then walked ahead towards Val. "How is it?"

Val responded. "No dangers or anything detected yet. The terrain is safe and stable while the animals inside should not be that difficult for the group to handle."

Alyssia turned around towards the newly formed group then beckoned them to follow behind her. "Let's go!"

"Yes captain!"

"Yes master!"

"Yes boss!"

Each of their footsteps were as light as possible and each of them were already in a more alert state as some had their hands placed near their weapons to draw them out at any time.

Those that could make use of Observation Haki had searched their surroundings and walked a little ahead the others so they could stop them once they sensed anything.

Val took the lead and continued to scan the area as they started to enter the forest and continued to go a little deeper.
