Mason ended up spending two more days in that hotel because his dad said sosince the house still is not the safest for Mason.

He still does not know what his dad is planning on doing to make the house safer, however he also could not care less.

He was so numb.

He lost the track of time anyway.

" I'm coming." Spoke Mason on the phone lowly, because he seriously does not have enough energy to talk.

He grabbed his stuff from the room and left after checking out from the hotel.

He found his dad waiting for him in the car, which is why he did not waste any time and got in the car, greeting his dad and finally buckling the seatbelt so that he can relax on his seat. " What happened?"
