Soon the battle was over and one of the leading Iron Chest Soldiers, Kieru, began the movement of all the bodies.

Meanwhile Kieru himself walked deep into the large cave left over by the Wolves and saw a large white core in the center.

As soon as Kieru placed his hand on the core, Michael received the prompt from the system.

[Congratulations for occupying the Bronze Rank, Wild Wolf Nest. Do you wish to destroy it?]

Yes, no one accepted Michaels trade. It isn't surprising though as people with weapons are likely able to produce their own weapons.

Then Michael moved onto the Ordinary Legion Summons.

Although the Iron Chest Legion are powerful, they are small and only in the Ordinary Rank. And even if this new legion is still in the Ordinary Rank, then there would be more soldiers to hunt.

According to the information it would mean with 100 other warriors their talent would double with sword.

Soon the familiar wheel appeared and Michael began spinning it.

It clicked down and landed on a small green section.

''Only ordinary? Well it is better than nothing.'' Michael was disappointed with the result. Of course he knew that the legion still had an incredible advantage over those without the Army Spirit.

And it can always grow, the Army Spirit will continue to grow alongside the Legion but it will be incredibly slow.

''My lord!'' The leading Piercing General, Cameron, came and kneeled before Michael.

''Cameron, split the Piercing Legion into groups of 100 and go hunt creatures outside the castle.'' Michael distributed orders and returned to the castle.

Within the castle there was pretty much nothing, only a large conference hall with a small throne.

Time continued to pass until around half an hour later, Kieru walked in and told Michael about their harvest.

After decomposing the 300 bodies of Wolves, Michael received 5,000 Units of food and 1,000 Units of Fur.

Rather than continue trying to Trading, he kept everything within his own inventory and didn't go and trade.

But he noticed one thing. On the Trading site someone actually put a Legion Replenishment Card on the trading interface! But the price was a whole 1,000 units of food.

Soon Michael snapped it up, others haven't fully realised the value of the Replenishment cards. After all, most people capable of hunting 1,000 units of food started with large legions.

They don't see the value in receiving another 100. But for Michael with his smaller Iron Chest Legion, it is incredibly valuable.

Seeing this gap in the market, Michael hung up three thousand more meat in trade for 3 Legion Replenishments. After that he used the legion replenishment on the Iron Chest Legion.

It brought the number up to 300, who were then sent out to continue hunting. Michael needed as much resources and Legion Cards at the beginning of the Novice Period.

He didn't have the advantages of others with incredible luck and powerful Legions. So he needed to make up for it in numbers or other things.

Luckily the Piercing Legion came equipped with an Ordinary Iron Sword with a 1% Attack bonus.

100 of the Iron Chest Legion now had Bronze Equipment and were sent out to continue hunting.

Finally it reached Midday, and a brutal battle was ongoing. Three Hundred Piercing Legions and Two hundred Iron Chest warriors were battling against a towering creature.

With two horns spiking out of it's head and covered in fur, it had a similar look to the mammoths on earth. But each attack would bring towering spikes of dirt attempting to pierce the skin of the Legions.

It was a Bronze Earth Mammoth, a powerful creature with incredible defense. The legions' attacks could only scratch the skin.

Luckily they called in the remaining seven hundred members of the Piercing legion and finally wore down the giant mammoth.

Michael looked at the huge corpse taking dozens of people to drag it to the castle in amazement.

After agreeing to decompose it Michael looked at the received items in amazement.

Equipment on this continent is different from ordinary equipment. It is provided to the leader of a legion and bound to them permanently. If the leader dies then it gets handed down to another member of that legion.

Of course there is lord equipment that affects every legion but that is incredibly rare and powerful.

The Piercing Legion is the strongest legion under Michaels control right now, even though the Iron Chest Legion have higher potential. But right now Michael needs instant increases in strength.
