Chapter 68 – Exiting the Tunnel

"The marriage rune allows a couple to sense each other's emotion." Lucy said with blushed cheeks.

When Jhin's hand landed on her chest, the first thing he felt was its roundness and perkiness, causing him to be in dazed for a moment. He only realized that Lucy had already placed his hand below her bust and let him feel her beating heart.

Feeling her heartbeat, as well as her emotions, Jhin let out a huge smile. He opened his arm and wrapped her into his embrace while whispering, "Then I'm relieved."

"Hmm…" Lucy softly nodded before burying her head on Jhin's chest. She too wanted to sense Jhin's emotions clearly.

"Let's stay like this for a while." Jhin said.

As he hugged her, he could feel that the majority of Lucy's emotion was that of joy and relieved. But as he attentively sensed deeper, he could feel a slight corner where pain, loneliness, and anger resided.
