CHAPTER 23 AM I DREAMING?!

The boring school day finally ended and as I arrived home, I saw my dad in the sitting room looking like he was waiting for someone. I simply walked past him but he called me back... I turned, at first, I was confused but later I thought he wanted to end the other issue...but I was wrong.

"Your Principal called," He began and a little bit of worry became visible on my face as I was in wonder of why she called.

"She said that the school will be having a program, I can't recall what she called it. All i remember is that she said that you have not paid the bills and you're also not joining their rehearsals." He added and then he held my right hand and placed it in between his two hands.

"Jessica, why didn't you tell me about it?" He asked and i sighed as i gazed at him.

 I couldn't get the expression he had on, so I just began "Dad, you have done a lot by putting me in that college, I didn't want to get you stressed," I said truthfully cause at first when it was about the "Camp," that one was about him granting his permission of which I knew he couldn't but this one was also about the money apart from me trying to convince him with my nanny by my side. I also thought about him, he pays a lot for my fees just to give me a better life so why would I keep disturbing him with these dispensable expenses.

Seeing the worry on my face he caressed my hand "I'm sorry for depriving you of all these things in years, I thought that was a way of saving you from this cruel world but I am wrong. So don't worry about me, you are going and from now onwards feel free to tell me if you want to go out with your friends," He smiled.

Hearing those words made my head want to pump out 'I'm going?' I soliloquyzed in disbelief. I couldn't believe that my father would let me go, if mother was here she would also be as shocked as I was. But just as i was in deep thoughts, I realized that he might not know what it means and maybe he also didn't know that we were travelling.

"Mm dad, I hope you know that we are goigooto be travelling to another country, so it might take up to a week," I stated to confirm if he knew it not?

"Yes, she told me about everything before I made the paymentt," He replied and my eyes nearly pulled out of it's sockets. I couldn't believe what I just heard!

'H-e alre-a-dy ma-de pay-me-nt?!' My inner self stammered but before I could compose another sentence he spoke again "Take this, use it to get whatever you need," He gave me his ATM card before leaving me there totally stunned.

I looked around to confirm if I was in this world or a dream world cause this was unbelievable.

My dad just said that I would be going to Moyin, he was allowing me to venture there alone and he also said that I should feel free to go out with my friends and also the fees... Am I DREAMING?! I hit my face hard
