He Really Needed To Do Better

Dietrian thought he was doing pretty well during the two-week test to see if he could be Riley's boyfriend until he vastly underestimated the destructive power of a rollercoaster on a person's digestive system and sense of equilibrium. That was potentially problematic. 

She did take care of him as he didn't feel well though, making sure he got water and stroking his hair as he lay down using her as a pillow. When he thanked her, she said that everyone deserved to be babied when they didn't feel well. 

That got to him because no one had ever cared when he didn't feel well before. In the village, he was left to suffer alone. In the mansion and the magicians' tower, he had to suck it up and keep working. 

It was nice being babied. Even if it did make him look undependable.
