The next couple of hours that passed were peaceful. The attendees for the festival were taking the time to celebrate and ring in the new year. There had even been a countdown until the exact moment that the new year began. That was quite amazing in my opinion. And I loved hearing all the people from the lower city excitedly count down with Callum as he ushered in the new year.

The sounds of their happy voices and the countdown rang through the air with a thrumming excitement.
