Chapter 33- Nolan – An Unexpected Experience in the Springs (VOLUME 2)

**NOLAN'S POV**

Yesterday was pure hell. I didn't know what I had been thinking. How could I have been so stupid? I was trying to have Addie shift, and without the proper clothes first. I am so fucking stupid.

OK, yeah, I didn't think that she would get the hang of it so soon, but that was on me as well. I mean, she had learned everything so easily so far. So, why the hell did I think that she was going to take a long time with this? I should have known that she was going to rush right through it like it wasn't difficult at all. And she didn't even seem to be suffering from the after-shifting pain. Every new shifter experienced that pain. Every single person, until her that is.

"GAH!" I screamed to the room around me. I was in the Atelier trying to catch up on work, but it wasn't helping me that much. Usually work calmed me down, but not this time. Now I was a fucking wreck.
