I DON'T KNOW YOU

Lia and Jeff  stared at each other for a brief moment until Noah stepped in to break the awkward silence. He wasn't actually paying to their stare game so Lia's confused expression didn't get noticed by him. Noah just walked to Jeff who stepped back because he was still angry at the boy for leaving the last night just like that without saying another word. He felt like Noah went to make up another excuse to confuse him but seeing him bring another girl along, worsened his doubts.

Jeff was extremely uncomfortable with a new person joining him because Noah was causing enough confusion. He was just staying with Noah as he felt that the boy had more knowledge about the situation which can be put to use any day. Now that the culprits identity is revealed he had no option than to keep Noah next to him. Lia was still staring at the boy without any pause causing him to naturally hide behind Noah.
