I WILL HANDLE

Noah walked to her and closed the gap between them to whisper something to her ears because he knows how she would react. He had to do it for the both of them, especially for him because he wants to get rid of the stone. He knew that the offer was really good and something that doesn't come on its own.

"You need to go back to the apartment, they will drop you off."

"What?" Lia almost shouted at his words but he quickly covered her mouth to maintain the decency.

"Don't spoil the image I just made so go home and I will tell you when I come back. It won't be late." he spoke with a fake pressed smile while glancing at the others to assure them, it was a good.

"What do you mean by that Noah? Are you going to do something stupid for that money thing?" Lia knew the boy very well and how idiotic he could be for what he wants.

The way he lured her into casting the spell and running from the realm, how he lured her into thinking that going back was a bad choice and even making her stay with Ren. Noah was always good with words when it comes to things that he really need.

"I am not a dumbfuck, I can handle it well." he ignorantly answered as he felt she would start another advising section if he speaks more.

"I am concerned. Do not reveal your true self." Lia spat at him and left a death glare that he wouldn't forget.

Her eyes changed colour for a mini second as her warning was clearly transmitted to him. Noah breathed out softly before nodding his head for her as an acceptance even though he didn't want it. He was determined to go back to the man who offered him the biggest help before Ren could come back and find him missing.

"Can we get going?" a man spoke as soon as Lia bashed out of the office.

"Yes." he said following the man without realising the trouble that he was jumping into.

He walked into the big luminated room where a couple of people were sitting around the table. They all looked professional while he on the other hand looked like a easy going guy with no idea about what was going to happen. In real he had no idea what was about to happen except for the teeny tiny information that he got. He was just asked to sit by there and agree to whatever that the man says and in return he would get twice the payment that he deserves for the moon stone.

"So, is everyone here?" the old man who hugged Noah back in the office room walked in.

"Yes, sir." another man spoke standing next to the old man who took the main seat at the centre.

"We have gathered here to introduce the new member who would help us with this business. He is going to be the face of our upcoming sales and I hope you all will be good to him and guide him."

Noah looked at the others to read their expressions and it was all different as some had confused faces while the others were more like annoying. He was anticipating a sudden shout or wave of rejections but nothing happened other than some heavy sighs.

"His name is not going to be revealed but we need to mention him as Zed."

The others quickly nodded their head as if giving code names are usual that he also nodded his head. He didn't mind changing his name because he was bored of Noah anyways as it has been hundreds of years since he was hearing it. Zed sounded nice and hot for some reason, a name given to someone really suspicious and dangerous.

"He is going to be the best one out so far. I will send the plan to the office by evening and we will have to start to prepare from tomorrow."

The man kept on ordering and all others nodded their head in agreement. Noah did the same as he kept glancing at the others who gritted their teeth at him while others faked a smile as if they were forced to do so. He then looked at the paper which was passed to him and he opened it to see some clauses.

"Zed, you need to read the clauses well and sign it." the man spoke to him as if others were already used to it.

"Hmm." Noah just hummed before immersing himself to the small letters printed to the paper.

He just started reading it and within the first few lines, he clearly got the idea. He was going to do something which was not legal and something against his own moral values. The only thing that he regrets doing in his life and giving sleeping potion to Oliver and that red dressed girl. He didn't want to do it and he was about to reject the offer but he saw the moon stone in the other man's hand.

He didn't know why he had to jump into something so quick without even discussing it with Lia. It sounded really lame but the money blinded him from corruption. He looked at the moon stone which was shining brightly under the luxurious lights and gulped. The stone was holding the life of his entire pack and here he was going to sell it off.

He felt himself being stupid and selfish to get his entire pack killed for his lunatic needs. He needed money to live among humans and for that all the innocent ones who loved him would have to go through wrath. He tried to shrug off the feelings, he tried to think that was just a myth the ancestors made to scare the pack.

"I will sign it." he quickly decided as he was always the one who acts on impulses.
