Chapter 112

“Well, so much for security,” Cam said, laughing as they walked back toward the house. Cam took one heavy sack out of his arms as Maggie opened the back door for them.

“What did you buy me?” Cam asked, peering into the sack as she set it on the kitchen counter.

“All your favorites.” Pauly grinned as he took packages out of the bags and loaded them into the refrigerator.

“Bagels…and cream cheese!” Cam exclaimed as she took them from the bag to hand to him. “This is great! I’m going to gain a hundred pounds. My new clothes won’t fit me.”

“I figured you could use some pampering,” Pauly said, taking items from her. “And the calories. There’s a pound of lox and a red onion in there, too.”

Cam just grinned as she continued to examine each new item including the bottle of her favorite scotch, soda water, fresh oranges, and other foods she hadn’t had in over a year.
