She stared at Master Xiao who looked everywhere but never turned to look at her. Seeing his gaze flickering, what else Madam Kong needed to know? Master Xiao was obviously guilty. 

She angrily questioned Master Xiao, "You used up all your allowance right? This money is taken out from the funds that I gave you to buy clothes and meat for our daughters at the start of the month, right?" 

Madam Kong didn't have just two daughters, she had more than six. She could not take care of each one of them personally, with everything that she did every day. So she handed a special fund to her husbands, that they could use to buy what they wanted to buy for their daughters. 

When Master Xiao heard Madam Kong's words, he felt even more guilty and immediately denied, "Of course not, it is from my allowance. I was the one who saved it bit by bit and bought clothes for my sister—AHHH."

He screamed in pain as Madam Kong slapped him again.
