23 Reason

A reminder made Cleo immediately leave the room. She went to the changing room and began changing the clothes she was wearing and then wore a hologram mask. She also took a few weapons because she needed them to complete her mission.

Many people do not know the reason why she can disappear just like that when being chased by the police. It is actually because her pieces of equipment are all advanced and unknown to the government. She assumes that there is someone who is after the life of the person who has become the target of her mission. The place was so dark that the man who had just entered didn't even notice Shadow's presence there. He only looked for a few things without disturbing the activities that were going on on the bed.

"Hm, why does the thief have to be here, dang this is so annoying." Cleo cursed as she leaned back and took a sip of the beer she poured in her glass.

Cleo lets the thief take the valuables that were in the room. After all, she has no business with the man.

Cleo's attention was drawn to the thief and she didn't notice anything until a groan of pain was heard.

The scream of pain was accompanied by a bug cut on the body of the man on the bed.

Cleo was still silent, so was the man who wanted to take valuables. He covered his mouth and was so scared when he saw what was happening on the bed.

"Ah. Damn. I can't believe that I had to serve an old man like him," one woman cursed as she put her clothes back on.

"Calm down. We don't need to do anything, after all we just need to fabricate this incident and they will think that Shadow killed this old man, we have to get out of here immediately." The girl replied.

The man who was stealing was so frightened because he had just witnessed a murder, he tried to run away from there. He moved a step and the room had turned bright. Cleo is the one who turned the light on.

The thief became so frightened, he trembled violently. Now he was so scared. Cleo, who saw the man, smiled a little. The man was more frightened to see Cleo who was so relaxed. For someone who lived in the streets, the name Shadow is no longer foreign to his ears, he always hears how cruel she is when killing her enemies.

However, the man is now seeing a legendary figure that he could only hear of before.

"You," Cleo pointed at the man, making the man even more frightened. "Go out and call the police." Cleo said.
