The Task

David silently stared at Abriella who was now just sitting looking down in front of him. David had asked his girlfriend about who Abriella was afraid of experiencing something bad in New York City. But Abriella didn't answer at all and just kept silent all this time. So that David breathed heavily,

"Okay… I won't force you to say it. Maybe you'll never be able, to be honest with me." The words that David spoke succeeded in making Abriella lift her head and look at David in surprise.

"D-David! It's not like that, I just…"

"I'll take you to New York! Get ready Ab, pack your things!" Said David who cut Abriella's words because he didn't want to hear all the reasons that Abriella would say that David knew if everything was just a lie to cover up other lies.

David walked away from Abriella and went into the room to get his suitcase and clothes. Leaving Abriella who just stood where she was and staring at David's room which was still open.
