Lazy + Rageful

Not long after Kenji left, the room became crowded. Nurses and doctors were trying to take test after test and Yuuma could barely get a word out. He had just woken up from a ten-year coma can't he get a break? Thankfully butler Kenji came in with a cart of food and kicked everyone out saying he couldn't breathe with so many people around.

But even when they all left Yuuma could still see curious eyes peeking through the door, most of them weren't even medical staff. Butler Kenji placed some dishes on his bed to which Yuuma happily ate ravenously. Kenji watched silently still in a daze since his waking.

"Something has happened, hasn't it?" Even with the stone face of his Yuuma could still feel the solemn air. It was almost as if...as if Kenji thought it was better for him to be sleeping rather than being awake. Yuuma bit the meat off a chicken bone and licked the grease off his fingers waiting for the hesitant butler to speak.

"A lot has changed Yuuma I'm afraid the world isn't the same anymore..."

"Is it war?" The creeping suspicion had been confirmed by the stiff nod of the butler and the murmur of 'monster war'. 'Maybe this is the reason he was brought to this world, for that purpose? To end an upcoming war?' Yuuma thought it was possible but all the more glamourous to say and a pain to actually do. Plus he doesn't even know his actual potential. Yuuma ate the rest of his meal in thought and when he finished Kenji took the dishes but before he could leave Yuuma stopped him. "Is my engagement off?" The butler looked confused and mumbled a yes. He smiled and in the dark of night those purple jewel eyes seemed to glow, "good, invite my siblings over."

"...but young master," Kenji appeared to have a hard time getting his words out, Yuuma frowned.

"What is it? Spit it out."

Butler Kenji sighed and shook his head, "every household requires one person to go off to war, I'm afraid your father is too old so miss Ami was sent out since she is of the age limit."

The little girl flashed in his thoughts, the memories of the sweet girl crying her eyes out because of their mother and the time he watched her face lit up with joy because of sweets. She was so innocent it was unfortunate she had been born in the Oxblood family. In his eyes, his siblings were still children, and even if they grew to adults they were still kids to him! Even when volunteering at the preschool he wouldn't allow them to bully each other and was always looking out for them even with closed eyes. Yuuma was a doting type to weak little things like small animals and kids.

Hearing Kenji's words were like the matchstick starting the flame, he was angry. Yuuma's face scowled and he stood up without the slightest fluctuation of his true emotion on his face. Kenji felt a chill for some odd reason as the emotionless eyes gazed at him.

"Where am I currently?" Yuuma asked.

"Vermillion Acadamy," Kenji answered difficulty.

"Get me some clothes when you come back, I'm leaving," Yuuma hummed fumbling with a pink candy wrapper he had held in his palm for a while now. The butler wanted to retort Yuuma but held back and walked away in hurried strides. Yuuma knew the butler had a lot to say and he himself had a lot to ask. But sending his little sister out to war? Do they want to cause another war?

Yuuma didn't know why his thoughts led to such things or as to why his chest beat so harshly that he heard his blood strain his ears with each pulse. He was starting to burn up like he was on fire, something was wrong. His emotions weren't in his control and even when taking breaths to calm himself but couldn't at the thought of the little girl all bloodied and her bright eyes lifeless and dull.

His reasoning was telling him that he should stay calm and think of the situation logically with the foresight of existing war. But no matter how hard he tried it only seemed to grow stronger and just sitting on the bed agitated him.

When Kenji arrived again with a fresh set of clothing he hadn't expected the room to be a disaster upon entry. The bedding looked to have been shredded by an animal and he found the young master pacing the room with elonged sharp nails and bloodshot purple eyes. Purple flame had lit up the shredded pieces of the blanket and glowed so brightly the room was beautifully lit up with luminosity. The messy hair of the young master was pulled back with his palm and Kenji couldn't help the widening of his eyes, stunned, at the black little horns atop the hairline of Yuuma. His animalistic eyes glared knives at Kenji having him pause and not move, Kenji didn't even breathe. If he were to those clawed hands of the emotional young master would shred him just like the bed. One could easily tell Yuuma wasn't in his right mind....and perhaps what Kenji had always questioned. Not human.

With slow mellow movements, he stepped back at the calculating eyes of Yuuma. With a moderate push, he closed the door. Kenji watched Yuuma the whole time with narrowed eyes. He folded the clothes and sat them carefully on the floor below. All this time it looked like someone ready to deal with a tiger inside the cage.

"Now Yuuma, will you change properly into the clothing I brought?" The answer he got was a long low hiss and a flash of canine teeth. Just as he had thought, Yuuma looked to have gone away somewhere in his head and some beast had taken over...

Kenji definitely couldn't let any of the medical staff see, nor any of the students, he has to take care of this little monster quickly. He hopes this is no permanent change. But nothing could shock him as Yuuma does every second he's with him, even ten years later he gets more shocks by the second! Kenji took out a handkerchief and wiped the sweat from his forehead, he really feels he should have retired.

"Yuuma pacify yourself, nothing will change if you aren't clear-headed, you have to calm down." After countless words to soothe him he only seemed to grow more irritated and defiant. Small tuffs of black fur stuck out from his arms and face looking fluffy and soft and in the light, Kenji even noticed the horns have grown a little more with a layer of black velvet. He looked especially attractive to touch.

Butler Kenji did feel frightened by the escalation of the change but Yuuma did look rather cute, like a mad kitten.

Abruptly the door behind Kenji swung open and a sudden heatwave that surrounded the room caused Kenji's back to sweat. The purple flame around Yuuma and the bedding swayed but never ceased its flare.

"I never contacted you," Kenji gritted his teeth with a scowl and stood up from the crouching position he used to try and coax Yuuma to settle down. Another long low hiss reverberated the room with an equally as deadly beastial glare. With the new visitor, Yuuma's originally pacing pace slowed while his gaze stabbed the new person. A new wave of rage already bubbling up to make a new appearance.

The new persons' eyes broadened at the sight he was witnessing but quickly shut the door behind them, a little too loudly for Yuuma to hear.

Yuuma was still there but an unspeakable thing had crawled in his brain, his emotions were uncontrollable and all he could do was listen to his rough heartbeat while not being in control. His senses were all over the place and even thinking was hard to do, he was confused, everything sounded loud, even smell was so strong, he couldn't even see in this unknown state. Even though mentally tired of trying to gain control he knew this beast was most likely, the dragon.

"Yuuma."

Through his haze, Yuuma somehow recognized the unrecognizable deep voice and an unexpected chill from the new heated source in the room felt cold. It was like a clash of orange flame to purple flame. A battle of the bloodlines. He felt it in his bones, he somehow knew with no explanation that the new foe in the room was a challenge to compete with and he should run away swiftly!

'No that isn't right...it should run away from me quickly!' This dragon didn't take Yuuma's instinct at all, wanting to fight them immediately.
