Dani wrapped up in her coat before she went looking for Reece. When she found her daughter, Nate was with her, on one knee, zipping her coat. Seeing this man with her daughter, caring for her, made her insides do silly things. It made her feel things she wasn't sure she was ready to admit.

When he looked up and noticed her there, he smiled. "Ready?"

"As I'll ever be."

The trio made their way out to Dani's car, and after Nate got Reece buckled in and jumped behind the wheel, he backed out and started for her brother's house. Reaching for her hand, he pulled it up and kissed the back.

"You excited to go on the plane tomorrow?" Nate asked Reece.
