Chapter 14

A dizzying, heart stopping, eye clenching moment later, and they arrived. Opening her eyes, Samantha found herself standing in an ornate entranceway with a grand staircase and several archways. The white stone walls stretched above, covered in brightly colored tapestries, and the floor below was a brilliant stone mosaic comprised of different hued concentric circles with a star burst in the middle.

Talk about wild. One minute she was in the tropics, the next a fancy mansion.

"Are you okay?" asked Ariel.

Samantha nodded. This magic stuff is so cool - teleporting in the blink of an eye. What a way to travel.

Chance wiggled in her arms, wanting to be put down. Samantha looked over to Sinclair's mother questioningly.
