When Nan Hua started to tell her story, Hou Lin moved away from his place to a further place so that he would not listen to what Nan Hua said. 

Even if he was Old Master Nan's dark guard most of the time, he knew that there were still things that he better not heard in the slightest bit. 

Besides, Nan Hua and Old Master Nan also needed their private time.
