Driving Him Crazy

Roman wasn't sure why Penny refused to text him back but it was driving him crazy. He had never been this affected by another person before. What was it about her that made him continue chasing her despite her insanely mixed signals? 

He didn't know what he was supposed to do to fix this. He really liked her; he didn't want to give up on her yet. Not when she was the first woman to actually make him feel something. 

The only excuse he had to see her after this was going to pick up her car from the mechanic so he could pay the bill. There had to be more he could get out of her than that!

Penny was so bright and beautiful. A dull existence like his couldn't compare to her but that didn't change the fact that he wanted to bask in her liveliness. Being around her made him happier than anything had in years, if not ever. 

She was different. Being around her made him feel different too. He couldn't give that up.
