THE THRONE IS MINE

[Rosewarth Castle]

Lord Rosewarth hurriedly went inside the main hall where the elders of the Main Rosewarth Family were waiting.

"Greetings, Elder Lin, Elder Dane, Elder Jason," Lord Rosewarth bowed three times before the three Elders of the main family.

"It's been a long time Vlad," Elder Lin got up from her chair and went towards Lord Rosewarth.

"Elder, please don't call me by the name you took away," Lord Rosewarth spoke in a sad voice.

"You, calling your mother Elder," Elder Lin clenched her fist in anger.

"Hahaha, mother?" laughed Lord Rosewarth.

"I thought we were past that point when you threw me out of the main family," Lord Rosewarth spoke in a calm voice but, his words were full of anger.

Before Elder Lin could speak any further, Elder Jason interrupted, "We are not here to see your family drama."

"That's right, tell that useless son of yours why we are here today," Elder Dane spoke in an annoying tone.

"Ha," sighs Elder Lin.

"Tell your son to apologize to the Scarlet Family," Elder Lin sat in her place again.

"Hahaha, you want my son to bend his knee before those treacherous swine," a tint of bloodlust came out from Lord Rosewarth.

"He killed the son of the Leader of the Scarlet Family and even defeated the Scarlet Maiden and, you want us to believe those lies," scoffed Elder Dane.

"We don't know the details and, we don't want another war with the Scarlet Family," spoke Elder Lin in a commanding tone.

"That son of yours even dared to use the Rosewarth Family name to make a bet, to kill The Scarlet maiden," Elder Dane shouted in anger.

"We were trying to mend our relations with the Scarlet Family but, your son messed it all up by killing their heir," Elder Jason nodded his head sideways in regret.

"Do you believe that a son of a common Elementalist will become strong overnight?" scoffed Elder Dane in anger.

"Trash will always be trash, don't think the common class can win against higher class and, that s the reality," Elder Jason punched his fist on the table, breaking it into two parts.

The Elders kept on pressuring Lord Rosewarth to make Lucas surrender in private so that the Rosewarth Family would not lose their image in case of a loss. They did not believe that a eight-year-old kid could defeat a seasoned battle experienced Eon.

[Lucas's Room]

Lucas tried his best to explain everything to his mother about The Sea of Consciousness. He only hid the fact about Emilia and the cursed seal.

"You were alone all that time," Lady Evylin embraced her son. Tears began to fall from her eyes.

Seeing his mother's tears, Lucas felt sad about his decision to lie to his mother. He didn't want to worry her and put her in danger.

"Don't worry," Lucas tried to console his mother.

"Wait here, mother, I will go and meet those geezers of the main family," Lucas made his way towards the door after consoling his mother.

"Careful, son, they are strong," Lady Evylin tried to warn Lucas.

"I am stronger," Lucas opened the door and made his way towards the main hall.

The guards and the servants were surprised to see Lucas's evolved body and aura. Lucas signaled them not to make a fuss and keep quiet.

[Rosewarth Castle][Main Hall]

"That's an order and, if you don't do it, we will drag him out," screamed Elder Dane in anger.

"This is the decision of all the Elders and, you will follow it like an obedient outer family," Elder Jason spoke while pointing his finger at Lord Rosewarth.

Suddenly, Elder Jason screamed, "Arggh." The hand he pointed towards Lord Rosewarth was now on the floor. Blood kept spraying out of this severed hand. He fell on the floor crying in agony.

Everyone present there was shocked to see Elder Jason crying on the ground holding his hand.

"[REALITY SEVER RELEASE] there won't be a next time, old man," Lucas entered the room.

As soon as Lucas entered the room, the temperature became cold. The eyes of the Elders were on Lucas. They tried to speak but failed to do so under tremendous bloodlust and pressure that came from Lucas.

"An Elder crying like a kid, funny," scoffed Lucas.

"How dare you hurt an Elder, Arrg, I will kill you," Elder Jason screamed in pain.

"Looks like his age is finally catching up, always blaming others," Lucas bent down and looked in the eyes of Elder Jason. "Respected Elder, show me proof," he scoffed.

Elder Jason became dumb fold because the pain suddenly vanished and, his hand was alright. He looked around the floor, but there was not a single trace of blood or any used essence.

"Impossible, this is impossible," Elder Jason got up from the floor, "How did you do it?" he screamed in anger.

"What are you talking about?" Lucas grinned. "A Lower class can never win against a Higher class. So, How should I know what happened." Lucas made his way toward Elder Lin.

"I heard that you want me to surrender and, this is the decision of all the Elders," Lucas gave a cold smile to Elder Lin.

"That's right, surrender and apologize to the Scarlet Family," Elder Dane shouted in anger.

A few moments passed, and no one spoke a single word. The Elders were busy trying to gauge Lucas's power but failed to detect any presence of essence. They were even more surprised to see Lucas's growth. To them, he looked like a ten-year-old boy.

Breaking the silence, Lucas spoke, "Decision of the Elders, not the Leader's..."

"Boy, don't go ahead of yourself," a cold voice came from Elder Lin.

"I see now, hahaha," Lucas laughed.

"You all are afraid of your position, aren't you?" a wave of bloodlust from Lucas covered the whole room suffocating everyone, "Afraid of kid who bested an Eon," Lucas grinned.

"The Rosewarth Family rules state that the Main Family or the Outer Family will not interfere with the succession ceremony," Lucas looked at his father.

Lord Rosewarth gave him a nod. The Elders didn't interfere this time.

"It has already begun... The battle for the Leader's position... And that throne is mine. I will kill anyone who gets in my way..." Lucas gave a cold smile to the Elders, "So, don't try to break the rules."

"You dare," screamed Elder Dane.

"Yes... And what are you going to do about that? Fight me... I dare you, just give it a try...," Lucas said in anger and released his Bloodlust.

"Now that I have reminded you, Elders of the Family rules," Lucas pointed his finger towards the door.

"Get out of my house or, I might not be able to hold myself back from killing you all," Yelled Lucas sending out another wave of bloodlust.

"Big words, tomorrow is the awakening day," Elder Jason made his way towards the door with the other Elders.

"That cold wave, hahaha, It must be the Ice Elemental power, like father like son... A bunch of trash Elementals," scoffed Elder Lin as she walks out of the door.

"We will see about that," Lucas grinned while clenching his fist in confidence.

The Elders left the castle. Things became very quiet.

"Boy, I am so glad you woke up," Lord Rosewarth grabbed Lucas in his arms.

"Sorry for making you worried," a drop of tear fell from Lucas's eyes.

"Let's go," Lucas took his father's hand and made his way toward his room.

"Mother is waiting and, I have many things to tell you," Lucas smiled.

Lucas then explained to his parents what he went through when he was in a coma and how his body evolved in detail. They talked all night, laughing and dining in happiness.

[Abandoned Temple]

Two shadowy figures were conversing in secret.

"An Ice Elementalist," the first one spoke.

"A Common Class is no threat to us, so proceed with the plan," the second one spoke.

"Order received," the first one vanished in the darkness.

"The throne is mine, hahaha," a sinister sound of laughter vanished under the moonless sky.
