Cao Tai POV

Once Benzaiten pulls herself together, smiles and bows before walking away going back to whatever she wants to do, I wonder if there were flames in her eyes...

Not my problem, yet. If she starts burning down the Foxen inhabitants in this area, I really wouldn't mind, since they wouldn't care if I was in their shoes, burning, or getting killed.

But while she does whatever she does, its time Progress!!!

Well I guess I shouldn't notify Lantla, Violet, or Sasha...

I enter Lantla's room and remind myself to do a base expansion, specifically I would like to improve passive income, and make some rooms so I could sleep in a proper bed, alone unless I want to sleep with someone else, and some rooms to store some materials.

But first, I must complete this test! I lay myself onto Lantla's bed and lay down, 'OK, I'm ready. Begin'

Third Person POV

Cao Tai appears on a flat biome that reminded him of Blockcraft, except the grasses grew up to his waist while in the game there was no grass this high, "Maybe in a wheat field..." He mutters.

<Novice Cao Tai. You have 30 seconds before the first wave begins, study your surroundings while you prepare, prepare your bow, and do whatever you have to do.> A voice similar to the one in Cao Tai's head booms.

"System..?" He asks, looking around trying to see if his System has a material form or at least find the origin of this voice.

"No, this is your proctor, you have ten breaths before we begin," The proctor announces.

"Why didn't you say seconds?" Cao Tai asks, he's thinking that this proctor is a retard who doesn't know the right measurement of time.

"Thats because time fluctuates differently here, you may be stuck in here for 100 years but only 1 day passes in your world, a perfect example of this would be you Training Space, you get a 1 Hour to 10 Hour ratio, you sleep for 8 hours but 80 hours pass, clearly thats due to some kind of time manipulation," The Proctor explains, Cao Tai nods as he believes this makes sense.

"Now general information, the only monsters you shall face are Manticores, Drowned, Ghouls, Alghouls, Archaenid's, and Entians. Every wave has a 5 minute timer, except for the boss levels, which will occur every 5 levels, in which case it will have a 10 minute timer. If you fail to kill all the mobs within that allotted time you will automatically fail. Finally, Every 5 waves you will be given the option to leave this test, if you do so you will survive however your level up requirements will reset." The voice asks, Cao Tai doesn't ask any so it assumes that he doesn't have any.

After those ten 'breaths' pass and an alarm blares for another 5 'breaths' and then 5 portals open and 3 ghouls appear out of each portal, "Wave 1 begins... now... BEGIN!!!" It yells.

The ghouls howl and if Cao Tai saw them last month, he would've warmed himself up, and the would've ran away.

But that was a month ago, he's prepared for this now, at least for these ghouls, he rapidly fires 16 arrows (One for good luck) and they all penetrate the eyes of the poor ghouls.

"You have completed Wave 1 in... 6 breaths, you have 30 breaths until the next round," The Proctor announces.

Cao Tai POV

"Level 15 Boss Fight beginning now," The Proctors voice rings, and another blare goes out, signifying the beginning of the match.

I quickly look at what has spawned this time, 2 Entians, their familiars which were wolves. 15 Archaenid's... and one pack of ghouls, about 9 ghouls and 1 Alghoul.

Without thinking, I fire 6 Red arrows on the Entians, and 2 Purple arrows on their familiars.

*BOOOM BOOOM BOOOOM* Some of the arrows hit their targets smashing the Entians to pieces, I learned that Entians had a significant weakness to Red arrows.

I quickly look around me to see where the Archaenid's are, I know that those bugs are a lot more clever than those Entians 4 on the back 2 on each side, and 6 at the front, they are all roughly 10 meters away, closing fast, I can probably take out 6 of them, then it'll resort to hand to hand combat... not good... And wheres the boss?

I don't have time to look at that, I shoot off my arrows and throw my bow away, drawing my sword, twisting and jabbing at the spiders while I enhance my sword.

Quickly turning green then red, I soon stop enhancing and slice at two spiders, both giving a loud hiss like acid on water.

All the Archaenid's soon fall and I turn my head to my new enemies, the ghouls, and that leaves only one option and where the Boss is, in the center of the horde.

I quickly run over to where my bow is located, and there is a small yet noticeable crack on my bow, I need to finish this wave soon, and I'm going to have to pull out if this isn't the final fight, since otherwise I'm going to break my bow, and I know I wont be happy and chances are, nor will Violet.

I load three Red Arrows and hail them down on the enemy, quickly rendering all the lower ghouls out of commission, however the 1 Alghoul and the other unknown one are still alive, I quickly loose 12 more Red Arrows and the ground simply disintegrates.

"Congratulations! You have passed the Cultivation Rank 4 Test! You will wake up shortly and your used Magical Essence will be reimbursed, your quest will also be completed once you wake up. As a reminder, consider having an idea for the familiar that you would like." The Proctor says.

And then, like someone turned out the lights, it went dark.

"Not this again..." I groan, crying myself to sleep, which if I wasn't busy crying I'd be confused how you fall asleep in a dream.
