29. Beautiful Woman

Today is a bad day for Charlos. He has a lot of work. Actually, he was not in the mood to participate in MJ Group's son's wedding. Today wasn't the right time to party as he wasn't in a good mood.

For the first time, after so many times, Charlos tried to contact Reva. Finally, Reva answered his call. Why did Reva want to meet him today? Charlos explained with a heavy heart that they couldn't meet today.

"So, we can't meet now? Okay, I understand. You must be very busy. I won't bother you anymore then." Reva's voice was so disappointed, and then Reva disconnected the phone.

Charlos regrets not being able to take the time to meet Reva. He couldn't possibly invite Reva to come to the party because there would be a lot of reporters there. He pondered in his heart. When will he be able to meet Reva again?

Charlos had put on his suit for the wedding. He didn't have to prepare everything because the event was held at his hotel. Since this afternoon, he had been at the Golden Ring to make sure all his wedding preparations went smoothly.

Now, it's six pm. Charlos was waiting for the wedding organizer staff to report the situation at the entrance. He had contacted them via the handy talky, but they still hadn't arrived.

Finally, after waiting for more than a quarter of an hour, the WO staff arrived running around.

"Sorry, sir. There's a little trouble downstairs," said the first man.

"What's the problem?" asked Charlos firmly.

"Accidental, there are many guests from Korea who have just arrived," said the second man. "They also have an event on the eighth floor. Some of the Koreans entered the wrong way. We tried to explain, but they couldn't speak English. So, they got angry."

Charlos frowned. "How is it going?"

"Finally, after I explained with great difficulty, they just wanted to move to their proper place. Actually, we have clearly displayed the wedding notice board in the lobby as well as in front of the elevator doors."

"Okay. It's good that you've solved the problem," said Charlos, nodding.

"There's one thing, Sir," said the first man.

This time, Charlos folded his arms across his chest. He was starting to get annoyed.

"There is no valet parking attendant. I think it's all because too many people use valet services, so they are a bit overwhelmed," the other man explained to Charlos.

"If they overwhelmed, you should help them. You must understand, our guests tonight are the most important people." Charlos almost snapped.

Charlos glared at the WO staff. Suddenly, something with a red shadow twitched behind the men. Charlos tilted his head to find out. The men had big bodies and were tall that he could not see the figure behind them.

"Okay, Sir. We'll be back downstairs again."

Charlos didn't answer as he was still on the move to find out who it was. Then Charlos was taken aback when the man standing in the middle spoke in a rather loud voice.

"Sir!"

"Yes," replied Charlos irritably.

"What's the matter, Sir?"

Charlos looked a little confused but then looked back at the WO staff with an authoritative reply. "It's okay. You guys get back to work!"

Finally, the men left before Charlos, and the red figure appeared before him.

The time seemed to move very slowly. Why do the lights feel so yellow and dazzling here? It was because Charlos was a little tired and hadn't filled his stomach since noon. However, it seemed that everything had nothing to do with the state of his hungry body.

He felt himself being pulled by gravity so strong that he couldn't move his body.

That woman really caught Charlos's eyes. Her red dress is so beautiful and fits her slender body perfectly. Her hair styled was curls like his favourite. And at this moment, her face looked so radiant like a diamond shimmer. He seemed to have seen that face somewhere.

"Charlos." The woman's voice was familiar to him.

Charlos blinked, hoping this mirage would pass soon, but the woman still stiffly stood in her place. The woman looked left and right as if looking for someone else, but not him.

Then she stepped slowly toward Charlos. The slit of her skirt that reached her thighs opened and revealed the woman's white, long, and smooth legs. After they got closer, Charlos realized who was standing in front of him.

"Rissa?" asked Charlos, still with a flabbergasted face. It was hard to believe what his eyes saw right now.

"Yeah, it's me. Thank God, we got to see each other. It seems, I got lost. This is my first time here. Do you know where is the reception? I forgot to bring the invitation. I've been following those guys. It turns out, they went here. As I thought, the reception area isn't here." Rissa kept babbling nonstop.

"How did you get here?" asked Charlos.

"So, I represent Kharisma. Mr Agung is going to Australia and Esther is having an event. Therefore, I am taking their place." Rissa shrugged her shoulders.

She was looking at the crystal chandelier. "By the way, this place is really nice. You know, I'm so in love with the lights. It reminds me like in the movies. I ever dreamed of having lights like that in my house." Rissa smiled half, and it made her look so beautiful.

Charlos didn't know what made Rissa talk so much tonight. Maybe Rissa was nervous, Charlos guessed.

Rissa looks very beautiful and perfect. Too bad the black cardigan didn't match the red dress, but it didn't matter—he could handle that one.

"That's impossible," Rissa continued. "I can't have such a thing because my house is too small."

Without warning, Charlos approached that woman. Charlos cut off Rissa's words. She was too surprised by Charlos's behaviour, who suddenly unzipped the damn cardigan. Then, he released it from Rissa's body.

The view was absolutely perfect this time. Charlos had released something that had been bothering him for a long time. And as it turned out, the thing behind the intruder was as beautiful as it had imagined. He could also see Rissa's shoulders, which were white and glowing in the light.

"Well, it's better now."

Rissa's mouth gaped slightly. Anyway, her red lips look so sexy and seductive. And, her curly eyelashes blinked a few times. Charlos hoped this woman wasn't teasing him because Charlos could lose control at any moment.

Geez, control over what? Is this the real him or a part of him from the past that is still alive? Charlos was with a beautiful woman who had filled his life before Rissa. And now, the good times have become a life lesson that is quite bitter and painful.

Will he give himself up to plunge into the same suffering again? It will never happen. Charlos felt enough to experience it all. He will not fall into the same hole.

Rissa placed her hand on her chest, hoping that her fingers and her tiny bag would be enough to cover her beautiful cleavage. After all, Charlos had seen it, and in the end, Rissa wouldn't hold on to her chest forever.

"Give it back to me!" Rissa tried to reclaim her worn cardigan with one hand, but Charlos pulled her away.
