"Are you sure, Vla? You're going to shoot it yourself?" asked Kael to be sure.

"Very sure, Kael. I'll use the penetrating detector before firing it. You, Callista, and Ahmed have to always be three so I don't get fooled when I shoot, understand?" replied Vla with great confidence.

"Alright, we'll always be close." Kael immediately turned off the HT and started looking for objects that could be used as protection.

"There are a lot of walls of ruins that still look solid and also a lot of things that we can use as shields for cover," Callista said and pointed to the southeast, not far from where they were standing now.

"Alright, we'll take cover there," Kael replied and immediately ran towards the place Callista pointed to.

Likewise with Ahmed and Callista followed behind Kael to the place.

Ahmed, who was in the very back, tried to avoid the hail of bullets still targeting the three of them. He also occasionally fires back with his revolver.
