The doors to the dining room opened less than two minutes after Dimitri had left and there he was standing with a note in his hand.

Clarissa found it odd. Despite how fast vampires were, they couldn't possibly be so fast as to prepare a meal in less than two minutes. Perhaps the man had given up. This would be a direct hit on the vampire king's pride and he would have no choice but to make it up to her.

Yet, she wondered what the note in his hand was.

He walked forward, looking even more pale than normal.

" Unless I'm starting to become blind, I can't see any food with you. Does this mean you have chosen to accept defeat? " she asked with a smirk on her lips.

" My lady, the king has ordered me to give this to you," he said, stretching the note forward.

Clarissa was surprised. Wasn't the king supposed to be a busy person? As his butler put it. She already knew it was an obvious lie. She took the note, wondering what the king had to say to her.

She saw the seal and almost scoffed. How official, she thought to herself. She opened it and then read the contents to herself.

' If you don't find the food palatable, perhaps you would like to give us a demonstration of what food should taste like. Feel free to make use of the royal kitchen. '

The second her eyes changed to a frosty fire, Leonard knew all would not be well.

Leonard gave Dimitri some credit for being fast enough to dodge the first plate Clarissa threw, considering the fact that she had quite an aim.

Raphael was having fun watching all the excitement. He knew there was something peculiar about Clarissa. There was more to her than met the eye and he wondered if his friend would come to realize it too or if they would kill each other before that happened.

Dante was confused and sort of scared. This reminded him of when his mother got angry.

The servants were quick to exit the room. They decided they would come back when the princess had calmed down. They barely made it out the door with the things being thrown at them.

Leonard went to her, dodging the things that flew off the table towards the direction of the door.

Finally, he got to her and grabbed her hands before she could grab anything else and rap him over the head with it. But that did not ease her temper.

She screeched out loud, crushing his bones between her hands. " That bastard! How dare he?! " she asked, pulling away from Leonard to pace. " Does he even know who I am?! " she was shaking badly. Her eyes were the definition of crazed. " If he dares to show himself in front of me, I will make him childless for the rest of his life. "

Never had she in her entire life been so badly humiliated. The bastard had been watching her all through and he had the audacity to tell his people to inform her that he was busy. Not only that he asked her to lower herself to doing work meant for servants. She would make him pay alright. She would make him pay so much he would understand quite clearly why she was feared.

Oh, the nerve of him.

" Calm down, Risa. " Leonard said softly trying to get through to her.

" No! I won't! " her voice sounded quite close to a growl. She turned away from him and faced Dimitri. " Where. Is he? " she asked with a clear threat in her tone.

" I really cannot give out information about his majesty's whereabouts. "

Her eyes flamed even more. " If I were to carve out my question on your forehead would you be more willing to give out his whereabouts? " she asked in a mocking, sweet tone.

" Perhaps you would like to go to bed now. You must be exhausted. " Dimitri suggested.

Another plate went flying. He barely managed to dodge properly. This time the edge of the plate caught the side of his head before crashing against the wall into a million pieces.

That had Raphael bursting out in fits of laughter.

Kieran who had been in the shadows watching the entire display truly found it amusing.

At least, the princess would be his entertainment while he looked for the moon kissed witch.

" Clarissa, he's an idiot. " Leonard said, grabbing hold of her once more. " Don't bring yourself to his level. You have been brought up with proper royal etiquette, one he seems to be lacking. " he reasoned with her.

Kieran found Leonard's words to be insulting but not so much as the fact that he had his future bride in his hands.

One thing Kieran has always hated was having to share things that were his. Even knowing he had no feelings for the snotty princess, he did not like having to share.

He would have to put the boy in his place when the time was right.

After some cajoling and some attempt to go after Dimitri a few more times, Leonard finally succeeded in getting the princess to go to her room with Dante trailing behind them, slowly and unsure of himself.

The dining hall was a mess and Dimitri had to take care of it as well as the terrible headache that had formed. Although that would be gone in a few minutes considering he was a turned vampire, unlike the seconds it took vampires who were purebloods to heal.

Clarissa did everything she could not turn to face the darkened East wing but she succumbed to glaring at the darkness, hoping the coward of a vampire king would see the death glare she had for him.

She turned to face the West wing and continued on her journey with Leonard.

She continued to curse the king in her mind.

She hoped for his sake he would continue hiding because she had this terrible need to kill him already, on her first day at the palace.
