Ch. 8 The Black Spider

Our journey was mostly uneventful after that. We had taken the metro for Queens and arrived home in less than one hour.

Dad had already gone to work at the Police Station and Gwen was also at her school. So I enjoyed the whole day.

I also tried using the Rewind ability and I am sure I had used it on almost all the broken things in the home. I wanted to try it more but stopped because I started to feel weak.

Well, it had to happen, I was spamming it all around like crazy.

I also found out that the bigger the item was more challenging it was to Rewind them.

I was enjoying the day till Gwen came from school and I found out something that gave me a heart attack.

It was about Anime, it is in this world.

As we were playing, I saw a small key chain in her hand. If it was a normal keychain then I would have ignored it but it was not a normal keychain, it was a keychain with a figure of Son Goku in Super Saiyan form.

This figure alone had me questioning my life.

To think that anime is present in this world and I was not seeing it.

My heart was in pain as I searched Anime on the internet and saw many old animes that were aired on the TV.

For me, this was both good and bad news.

The good news is that I will be able to watch animes and the bad news is that I have powers from anime.

I am sure in the future there will be some guy who will look at me and go

"He has Powers from Anime"

And then I will become an Anime Man...well it's not bad but I don't think I like it.

After that, I passed the whole evening watching One Piece on the computer.

And now it was almost midnight, Mom, Dad and Gwen were all sleeping and I was in the kitchen packing some food for the travel. I had also taken the last remaining 50$ from my pocket money.

After all, I didn't know a thing about what is going to happen and which universe I am going to.

It was all mystery.

The only thing that I found out was that this trip was for one week and one day in that world will be equivalent to one hour in this world.

So, for all this time I pass in that world only seven hours will pass in this world.

As I was thinking I looked at the clock and saw the time was 11:49 pm and only 10 minutes were left before midnight.

Seeing this I took my bag and silently ran to my room upstairs then closed the door from inside.

After that, I took out the ticket from my pocket and tore it into two pieces.

The two pieces started to shine and disappeared, then a portal appeared in front of me.

The portal was purplish-red and gave blinding lights, making the inside invisible. I tried touching it and suddenly a suction force came from the portal which sucked me inside.

"aaaaaaaaaaaaa"

I screamed as I felt my body free-falling and then the next thing I saw was that I was in an alley.

"where is this place?"

I questioned and slowly stood up and as if the world was answering my question a newspaper came flying and landed in front of me. I picked it up and was shocked by seeing the news on it.

On the page was a black and white picture of spiderman and the green goblin and at the top of the paper, I saw the logo of the Daily Bugle.

Seeing this I understood "This... this is the first spiderman world!!"

I then ran out of the alley and saw a familiar yet unfamiliar scene, I was in New York but it was as I had seen when I was a kid. the buildings were old, and the air had a somewhat serious feel to it.

After looking around I thought and asked a passing person.

"Hello, sir what is today's date?"

The man looked at me with an annoyed face but still answered and walked away.

"June 21, 2005"

" Thank You," I said and started to think about my next move

"should I go meet the spiderman? No first let's find where am I in the timeline."

As I thought this my mind started to make plans about how would I find out about the timeline and at last my eyes fell onto the Daily Bugle building and after some thinking I walked toward it.

"Hey kid what are you doing here?" the security guy asked as I entered the building.

"I want to go in." I said while making a cute face as it always works but the security guy ignored me and just said "go to your home or you will be kidnapped."

I looked at him for some time and just sighed, I am thinking of fighting demons and gods in the future, and this guy is telling me that I will be kidnapped, sigh.

Then I walked away from the building and came to the back of it, there was a small alleyway, I just used Aero Hand and jumped at the rooftop.

I had thought of doing this and was feeling that I was very intelligent but just as I walked to the rooftop door I saw that it was looked.

"fuck, what now?"

I was on the roof for some time and was eating some sandwiches that I had packed at home. Just then I heard something and quickly hid on the other side of the roof.

Then I peeked and saw the roof door opening up and then a man walked out of the door.

I was very well hidden but the man still ran in my direction, I quickly hide and the next thing I saw was spiderman in a black suit jumping from above me.

I just looked at him from behind as he swung away and said

"well, looks like I am in spiderman 3 timeline."
