Au Fuji had sat and thought about those things for a while before his grandmother had chased him away.

"She is probably waiting, do not make her wait any longer. Leave."

"En grandmother," he stood and stared at the beautiful woman then bowed, "This grandson bids grandmother farewell for now,"

"En, enjoy. Remember to think about what I have mentioned. If you are not interested then I can also look for promising young males."

Au Fuji felt his power flared, he did not like this. Someone else takes his little breeze?

There was a soft chuckle followed by words that startled him.

Embarrassingly Au Fuji stepped from the medium room and took the path leading to the courtyard of the young girl he had been anxious to see.

On the other hand, the old madam continued to sit. For the year since the arrival of the small girl, the Kai family began to slowly rise.

They focused only on their home and surrounding land.

Trees had been planted and servants with families had been granted permission to build on the unused land.

Soon, homes were built and the walls repaired.

Their land was vast easily five thousand acres spread out over a small forest, grassland and mountains with three flowing rivers connected to each other.

The land had been vacant since she had returned to the main home but now she and the young girl who had unintentionally become their life saviour will reside in this place.

She had implemented all the ideas she had and thought were useless with the help of the small girl and her grandson refining them.

Now the land had food, people and everything slowly began to flourish.

The Kai clan could be said to still hold vast wealth with most of it being the five thousand acres of land able to house easily a few hundred thousand.

The general lecturer arrived, the old madam stood and greeted the male.

"It has been a year master Dai Orthius," dropping her head the old madam looked at this cousin of hers and smiled.

It has been a very long time since she had seen him.

This is truly been a surprise that he had replied to her request of teaching the young Zephyra about the general knowledge of the world.

"Old madam Kai, it has been a while."

"Have a seat master Dai, would you like some tea?"

"En," the servants served the tea while the two sat across from each other. Master Dai is a handsome man, who is the head of the Dai family.

It was a good thing when his father had been thrown from the family.

His father was a concubine born son, this son was Dai Orthius who thankful is the only surviving son borne from the legal wife.

She had been a hard-working woman while the father had ambitions.

Together they had changed their name to Dai and started their own family.

The father was a man who may have been ambitious but he was a man who was levelled.

One wife is easy to handle than one wife and two concubines.

His wife was also hardworking and diligently watched over their remaining children after he had gotten rid of the scheming concubines.

It is OK for a man to have many women but he should have some respect for the wife and legal children drawing a firm line.

Because of his mistakes, he had lost two daughters and three sons.

Once he had noticed all of this, his wife was carrying his only son.

This is a story that the old madam had found was beautiful but it is a pity...

Well, the so survived and had children of his own.

He is a rare man who had no concubines, taking the example from his father to simply dot on the main wife who had birthed his two sons and two daughters.

The last son is the youngest and from what she had heard is twelve this year, while the other children are between a century the eldest daughter, seventy-nine the second son and seventy the other daughter. Each is already married and have already produced one or two children.

The old madam drank her tea deep in thought as if contemplating complicated matters she started off in a daze.

His cousin--the fourth cousin, watched the woman who should look old and close to dying.

She had been absent for eight years in public since the death of her daughter and even before that she would rarely be seen after the death of her husband and annihilation of the Kai family.

He knew how she suffered, but he is not a man who would care about family besides his wife and own children.

In fact, he only cared about his wife!

This to he had taught his children, who, so far had followed by having one wife and no concubines.

As a man, he knows the temptation of having many women but the infighting is simply too much.

He rather have simply one child every quarter year than have ten. He can be sure that his one child would survive and receive all the love and care than it being targeted relentlessly and having a short life.

"Let me simply get to the point." Dai Orthius gazed at his younger cousin from the Kai main branch, who took a sip of tea, waiting for her to continue. The cup was gently placed while she sat straight. Dai Orthius himself had a blank face refusing to betray his inner thoughts.
