2. Cruel World.

They would find each other again in a place, where there would be no rules that would make them apart.

A place where their soul could reunite, breaking the bonds of the cruel world.

But for then, they have to get their kids to a safe place. So that no one could reach them.

Titan kissed his wife for the last time and said, "I love you mate. We will be together again. I promise you. We will find each other again."

He consoled his wife, who was sobbing heavily in his arms.

Zelda knew she had to let him go, and bring both the girls to a safe place. She didn't know how she would be able to handle herself after moving away from him.

They let go of each other. Titan looked at his kids one last time, and gave each of them a forehead kiss and transformed into his origin, a large black wolf with his golden eyes shining bright, with red rings in his eyes.

Titan nodded at his wife and licked both his children's cheeks. Athena's wolf Raksha was begging him to take her with him, so that they could fight along, but he shook his head, and crouched in front of Athena as he acknowledged her wolf Raksha.

Athena wiped away her tears as she knew she had to face the reality. Her wolf Raksha also gave up trying to convince him and promised him that she would take care of her mom and sister.

Athena nodded her head at her father's wolf Lupus. He took a heavy breath and and took off into the other side of the forest without looking back at his family.

Zelda turned to her kids and took Rachel into her arms. She knew Athena could keep up with her pace. So, she started running deep into the dense forest, with Athena behind her to keep them safe.

They were running for more than three hours in the forest.

Rachel didn't know where they were going, but Athena seemed to know the forest like a familiar thing to her.

Zelda could feel how her mate was fighting to keep them safe…

He was losing his power slowly with the pace of time with what he was injected with something.

She could only pray to the moon goddess that it was not wolfsbane.

She suddenly felt like her whole body was burning. She collapsed onto the ground while screaming loudly, "Ahh!!!", making Rachel fall down with her.

Athena saw her mother and ran to them hurriedly, and saw that her mother was in agony. Zelda was yelling and screaming continuously in pain as she could feel her mate was slowly losing his life. She felt like her heart was being torn apart.

Suddenly Zelda felt a cold touch on her forehead, and knew it was Athena.

After a few seconds everything turned dim infront of her eyes, like things were fading away and then she lost her consciousness.

Rachel was shocked to see how her mother who was shouting like a madwoman was now sleeping like a baby.

Rachel was scared of how Athena made her mom go to sleep.

A tear escaped from Athena's eye as she knew that her father was no more in this world, but she could feel his wolf's Lupus spirit around her.

Rachel frowned seeing tears in Athena's eyes. She sat down on her knees, and wiped off the tears from Athena's eyes.

Athena couldn't control herself knowing that Lupus was watching them as a spirit, and she knew he was trying his best to connect to Athena's wolf Raksha, with his powers, but it seemed like he lost all his powers in an instance.

Athena saw Rachel frowned while looking at her and Zelda face.

She took her elder sister in a hug, and cried on her shoulder heavily. Athena didn't know how to tell her twin sister that their father was no more and they would never see him alive again.

She knew from beforehand that there were still many things that would become a hurdle on their path.

Rachel was confused seeing tears rolling down on Athena's cheeks, and sat down on her knees to calm her down. She wiped her little sister's tears away with a brief smile.

Rachel wanted to know What was happening.

Why her mom was practically looking dead and her sister was not looking any good.

She was scared that the guys her dad went to fight with were going to catch up with them. She was scared for her father. Even though she is a human she felt like some part of her was no longer with her she felt sad she felt like she was about to burst into tears but she didn't know why she was feeling like this.

Lupus wanted to do something to control the situation, but he couldn't connect with Athena's wolf Raksha at all, no matter how hard he tried. He felt someone was trying to reach out to him.

Lupus was one of the descendants, which made him one the most powerful wolf of the era. Which was the reason he could come to his family in the form of spirit. It was said that a powerful wolf like him was made to rule the werewolf reign.

But it was like a disgrace in the werewolf community to have a human mate.

Lupus loved his mate more than he loved himself, that's why he chose to come back to look over his mate and children.

He was breaking the werewolf's strict norms which was, 'After the death, you have to go back to the wolf realm and rejoin with your mate after their death.'

But Lupus didn't care about it because the werewolf community never cared about him or his family. They didn't protect him and his family when he literally begged them to leave him and his family alone.

The werewolves broke the pre-made rules by going against him, and his family; now he was breaking their rule by going against them. He didn't care because he didn't care about anyone, but solely his family.

Looking at the women, who safeguarded and valued his presence, suffering like that was raising his inner rage, making him want to skin the people alive, who made his family suffer like that.
