Chapter 43

In the end, I decided to just do the operation on him. After it was done, he gave me the antidote and I did more than 300 tests on myself before sending him back to his timeline. While looking through my lab, I saw the recipe of the poison and it read, 

[Recipe to stop future self]

[Hahaha! You were fucking tricked. Do you think I have time to make all those drugs? Well damn, you sure are stupid for my future self, but that is different now, I mean, I am in a different timeline now. Till we meet again]

[From: Dr.Carnage(2.0)]

"Hehe. Smartass. Hahaha. I like myself." I said, letting out a heartfelt laugh. "Hehe. Now, time to test my new speed and strength."

Purple lightning appeared around me and I ran out of the house.

I appeared in my living room smiling at how I tricked that bastard. 'He thought he could trick me, Dr. Carnage... Hmm, what's this?' I brought out a paper from my pocket and read it.

[Dumbass]

[You thought you tricked me, but it was me, Carnage! You were never going to die from staying in the wrong timeline. Get Rekt Noob!!]

"..." All my happiness and pride of tricking my future self left as I finished reading it. "That smart ass."

-Original timeline third POV-

Batman was sitting in front of his bat computer without his mask on, drinking the tea Alfred just gave him. He clicked something on the computer and the screen switched to showing Gotham city from the bird view, and he immediately spat out his tea.

"What is the matter, sir?" Alfred asked, moving behind Batman.

"Are you seeing what I am seeing?" Batman asked, looking at his computer screen.

"Sir... I am." Alfred said, nodding.

On the screen, a purple blur was moving through Gotham city, faster than what they have ever thought was possible.

"It seems I was right. These speedsters' speeds are virtually infinite. The info I got from star lab after hacking into it was right..." Batman was saying before Alfred cut in.

"Sir, you hacked into the star lab?" Alfred asked, looking at Batman.

"I needed more information on the speedster there and our speedster. His top speed ever recorded was Mach 13.3, while Carnage is visible moving faster than that." Batman said, looking at the screen. "Computer, calculate Carnage movement speed."

[Calculating...]

[His current speed is Mach 19.8, double his last recorded speed.]

"What did he do to get faster this quick..." Batman said, tapping his finger on the table. "We need to make contact with flash and his crew. He needs to come to take care of his fellow speedster. And we can also form an alliance to help each other whenever we need more help."

---Carnage POV-------

While running through Gotham, enjoying my speed, occasionally killing people, I stopped in front of Robinson Park and looked into it. The park looked like a flushing forest, with green leaves, flowers, healthy plants, and green grass.

"This place ruins the vibe of Gotham. Whenever I run past here, I always want to destroy it." I said, entering Robinson park and walking within it. "Should I destroy it?"

"I won't allow you to do that." I heard a female voice say from above me.

Looking up, I saw a big flower opening up which revealed a female sitting within it. She was a  slender yet curvaceous woman with smooth green skin, green eyes, plum green lips, and a very beautiful face. She has flowing long red hair and she wore only a corset made out of leaves, showing off her long legs and sexy body.

Though I didn't feel anything looking at her, I guess most, if not all, men and women will crawl at this woman's feet and lick it if she gave them the chance.

"Who are you?" I asked, fully knowing who she was but just wanted to make sure.

"Me? I'm a genius. I can make plants behave like animals and make animals into plants. And I'm part plant as well. It doesn't show. But I am... What am I? I am the Queen of the May, crowned in leaves, and blossom, and thorns. I am hope and beauty and truth. A symbol of growth in the dark times that are upon us... I am impossible. What am I? I am Poison Ivy." Poison Ivy said, giving an overly long introduction.

'Hmm. I should make an introduction like that when someone asks me who I am.' I thought, looking at her body. 'Is she human? Or just plant.'

"I have been watching you, Carnage... But you look different. More...manly" She said, licking her lips while looking at my topless body. I left the house only wearing pants, no shoes or top. My lab coat wasn't even worn.

"Dr.Carnage." I said, cutting her off.

"You have never hurt any plants and only killed the humans who have destroyed mother earth. And for that, I thank you." Poison Ivy said, crossing her legs. "But you threatened to destroy my forest and for that, I won't forgive you. You will become a slave to nature."

"What can you do to me, Ivy?" I asked, looking at the plants around me that seemed to come alive. "I am Dr. Carnage. The evolved and better version of Carnage."

"Egoistic and Naive, aren't you." Poison Ivy said, smiling. "And please, call me Poison Ivy."

A spiral of roots struck off the ground which I easily dodged by sidestepping. Many more came out and I kept dodging them and suddenly, a root wiped toward my face, but instead of dodging, I stood still. The root didn't hit me but passed through me. 

"A new trick?" Ivy said, a little surprised. "Well, let me show you my new trick."

The ground started shaking then one tree rose from the ground and gained feet and hands. It was 10 meters tall and looked down at me.

"Interesting. You can control plants to this level?" I said, looking up at the titans. 

One tree punched down hard at me and I decided to test my strength. Stretching out my hand, I caught the fist bigger than my new body, with my left palm, a crater forming below me. 

"Hmm?" Ivy said, surprised. 

I jumped up and appeared in front of the titan's head before punching it. With a loud boom, a big shockwave shot forward, completely destroying the head.

"You!" Ivy shouted, seeing me kill her servant.

The tree and root rose and started attacking me in the air. I entered speed time, everything slowed down and started running down the roots that rose from the ground before dodging the other roots in the way, moving toward Ivy. When I reached her, I jumped and landed on the flower she was sitting on.

"You came right for me? Aren't you a smart one?" Ivy said, smiling seductively, looking up at me.

"Last time I fought the mob instead of going for the boss, let just say, it didn't end well," I said, looking behind me to see hundreds of pointy plants meters away from my back, ready to stab me at the moment's notice. "If it is the speed game you want to play, I will gladly play."

"No, let's play another game, handsome," Ivy said, standing up and moving seductively. 

She slid her hands across my body, tracing my muscles before grabbing my face, tipped toed, and kissed me. I didn't move and allowed her to do whatever she wanted. After some second, she drew back and looked at me, staring at her with a broad face.

"Wait, why aren't you dead!?" Ivy said, shocked while looking at the still healthy me. "You should be dead."

"I wonder why." I said, touching her lips. 'Was her lips poison? I felt a sting for a moment then it was gone. Hmm. I need to experiment with her.'
