Prince of Hell Vs Arsene

Enjoying the flow of rushing Demon blood against my bare feet, the coldness brought on by Demonic Resinnance began to take its toll on my soul. Despite the Flames of War raging like a ravaging storm, I could see the mist of my breath.

I'd always loved the cold; always, despite the heat being one of my main killing tools could not compare to the icy touch of winter. To stand outside with my bare chest was one of the things I did back on earth in New York. And I loved it, to feel my fingers turn numb, to watch my pale skin lose color, to tremble as I took my first step outside.

Those days were the best!

"Abyss-Chan?" I started, taking a few steps through the blood that was beginning to feel like an ice bath, "Grant me your power," I said. When I hoisted my spear towards the skies and braced myself, when suddenly, a great hammer came crashing down, shattering the ground beneath my feet and turning the terrain into an abyss.

The force was abysmal, but like a black hole, my body devoured all that excess force without issue. My gaze settled on the blood-stained expression of the five-winged angel, far more powerful than the one I saw.

"Event Horizon," I uttered in the language of the devils, and the entire world went silent before distorting around me as the laws of darkness erupted, casting the land into Night.

The valley around me seemed to vanish alongside many demons and devils as the power of the Path of Abyssal Night consumed me in almighty essence. It devoured Heaven and Hell leaving nothing behind but the empty void and a devil's laughter.

Bellowing at the raging souls overflowing within me, I could feel my cultivation surge as divinity trickled through my pores. Exhilaration hit me like a pig in shit as souls of demons, Devils, and Angels began to burn away within me.

"WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!" The angel before me who bore the brunt of my spell howled, spilling blood from his arms that appeared to have been peeled away.

Piercing my free hands forward at speeds someone only at Godking could hope to see, much less defend, the sound of a beating heart pulsing within my hand thumped with a pleading sound.

"A fine heart, mate."

"Arsene?" He uttered as a deadly realization struck him, and his strength left him. He fell to his knees as I pulled my hands out from his chest and leaned into his ear.

"Give me your soul," I whispered as I bit down on his throat, tearing away his life force.

"UHH~" He grunted as my face turned green.

Spitting out his flesh, I couldn't help but vomit, " What the fuck! God damn the Law of Concordance, I'd forgotten about that! Screw you!!!'

Slapping his head off in one swift motion, I grunted and spat over his corpse. "Fucking Angels, I–

"DIE!"

Startled, I blinked out the way as a wave of almighty essence exploded before my eyes.

"Drar?" I shouted as a brutal shockwave blasted me off my feet.

Spreading my wings wide, I soared into the skies and peered down at the Prince of Hell, standing still over lava overflowing from his strike.

My brow creased as I felt the power of an elder god surge before my eyes, rippling out and causing the skies to part and the earth beneath his feet to splinter, sweat trickled down my spine, but a smile had managed to appear over my lips.

"You've got a body of an Elder God Arsene, so I'm here to test it and kill you in the process." He claimed.

"I'd assume I'd be off-limits."

"You'd be right, but a Fallen ordered me to kill you." He coldly uttered, to my dismay, "and with me being the closest, I had that honor."

"Who do you worship?"

"At this point, it doesn't matter,' He said, shaking his head, bearing a half-smile, " One doesn't reject a Fallen, I'm sure you understand."

"Were all pawns," I remarked, and he could only nod in agreement.

It's funny how I once thought all these bastards were all the hot shit, but now seeing them so defenseless against a Fallen, so weak, I could not help but feel the need to grow.

"This is where you die, Arsene Snow."

"A Godking, Elder God, now that's a bit of a suicide mission," I light-heartily said, "I'd not like to fight, but I don't think you'll let me escape, like that Marquese I met earlier."

Blending my eyes with the Weave, I sucked in a large breath as the Aura of Concepts began to shine. The Almighty Essence that was only a sliver began to surge, growing as large as a dragon, with nine heads.

"Tiamat?" Prince of Hell, Drar'ethiul uttered. "I'd heard you once had a dalliance with her from the Elder of the Etherial Realm."

"I may have even had a child with her," I joked.

Touched by the icy winds stinging my skin, the scales over my body all began to give off an endless amount of almighty essence. The Spear of Noctom had already begun to blaze the aura of Heaven and Hell, with strands of Almighty Power overflowing.

Crimson Wings, War of Kings.

Activating my twin abilities, Drar looked at me with a long smile, " You've really come a long way such a shame; this fight is not one you can win, isn't that right, Sagthillath?"

Sagthillath, one of Drar's Seven Great Devil Generals, stepped out from the shadow of Drar in the same skull-like ebon armor I remembered from all those years ago when he first appeared.

"Half-blood, we meet again." He said with glowing red eyes, using the same term he once called me.

"More than a half a cycle," I replied without fear.

Connecting my mind to Lilith to pick me up after this battle, I only smiled and nodded with a serene expression.

"Only two?" I said.

Drar shook his head as he slowly watched six more shadows appear, all of them at the peak of High God.

'A fine show, Drar, a fine one, but you are forgetting one thing."

"We are prepared to combat the flames of hellfire," He uttered, pulling out a strange-looking talisman that—

"Lazarus?"

"So you've seen this before," he said, and my eyes narrowed with a bit of wariness, but that only faded as I shook my head.

"No, not that." I answered, "I'm talking about the Temple of Endless darkness. I did not just learn one, Concept. Nor did I learn two. To be King, one must learn all the temple had to offer."
