Stay Away From My Fiancee'!

"Hey, what's this? Little cousin is in love!"

Four years ago, Tanaka Akio, who was already in third-year high school at that time when Ryo was still a freshman student of the same school as he is currently enrolled, would still tease his cousin Ryo with almost everything that he does.

Now, Akio happens to have a glimpse of the photo in Ryo's cell phone screen featuring a candid shot beautiful girl with shoulder-length hair and a lovely smile

Smirking, he snatched the phone away from Ryo and also took a closer look at the said girl that his cousin came to like.

"Geez. Give me back my phone, Akio!" Ryo protested but his cousin did not listen.

It was his bully cousin that was the main reason why Tanaka Ryo hated family gatherings so much. Currently, they should be having fun at one of the formal family dinners of the Tanaka Clan at one of the villas that Ryo's father owns.

But instead, Ryo is now having a bad time dealing with his obnoxious cousin and spoiled the fun of being left alone in a corner where he thought nobody would notice.

"I said give me back my phone!" Tanaka Ryo protested once again and finally made a successful jump and snatched his phone away from his cousin.

Ryo was just simply turning off his phone and was about to put it back inside the pocket of his jeans when he saw Akio smirking to himself.

And it was that kind of gesture that Ryo knows Akio is plotting something evil against him.

Ryo raised one eyebrow at his cousin and dared to ask, "What are you smiling there about?"

"Oh, nothing. It's just that I actually know this girl and I am planning to make a move on her."

Gritting his teeth, Ryo squinted his eyes and sneered, "Don't you dare."

Instead of being intimidated by his glares, Akio simply brushed it off past him and spared his cousin one of his infamous grins.

"Unlike you who acts like a creepy stalker lurking around the corner, I, who is a famous heartthrob at the school, can make her fall for me in a week or two."

"You…!!!"

Akio then eyed Ryo's straight-cut hair, thick-framed glasses, nerdy dress up, and chapped lips with disgust.

"But I definitely understand why you can't even go near her. I mean, look at you… who would fall for a geek like you, right?"

In the end, Ryo only let Akio insult him and didn't make a comeback while he was mockingly laughing as he started walking away from him.

But going back now to the present, Tanaka Ryo would definitely make sure that he wouldn't let his cousin Akio do whatever he wants to do this time!

After Akio spoke those flowery words to take another advantage of Yuna's feelings for the second time, Tanaka Ryo stood from his seat and forcefully pushed Akio away from his girl.

"You…" Tanaka Ryo gave his cousin the sharpest look he could possibly give to a person. "... better stay away from my fiance!"

Everybody at the table was terribly shocked by this sudden declaration and was rooted in their seats.

Meanwhile, Tanaka Ryo took this opportunity and made a grab for Yuna's right hand and almost dragged her out of the cafeteria with him.

The latter was still somewhat in a daze from all that had happened earlier that she wasn't able to respond immediately to Ryo's sudden actions.

Nakano Yuna's mouth was surprisingly sealed and refrained from talking while her eyes were focusing on her hand that Ryo is now holding.

Memories of their junior high school years suddenly flooded inside her head in a whim as Yuna still kept on staring at Ryo's hand placed in hers.

Two Years Ago…

News is currently spreading like wildfire all throughout the country about Nakano Corporation, which was famously known at that time as one of the leading real estate companies in Japan, being on the brink of bankruptcy at this moment.

Yet, even so, Nakano Yuna would always try her best to still live normally and do what she usually does in her everyday life

At the cafeteria only known for socialites to ever afford to buy food in this school facility, Yuna wouldn't miss those disgusted looks that the students are throwing at her after hearing the mentioned news about their bankruptcy.

During her high school years, Nakano Yuna was famously known as the 'Domineering Queen' of their campus because of how she deals with people inside the school.

Yuna can't exactly remember if she really had some decent friends in the past, but what she mostly remembers is that she would pay anybody just to hang out with her, either through cash or buying what they want the most.

Through money, Yuna made a lot of friends-- and also enemies.

But now that the news about their company's fall is widely spread throughout the country like a plague, nobody wants to be friends with her anymore.

Yuna couldn't help but click her tongue in frustration and suddenly pointed to a random female student who happened to pass by her table.

"Hey, you there!" Yuna called, making the girl turn around to face her. The girl's expression immediately changed once she saw that it was the poor-to-be girl who just called her.

Yuna ignored that and added, "Come sit with me here. I'll give you 500 yen for spending some time with me."

Just like that, loud whispers from the students present in the cafeteria started making a fuss, revealing the true colors of those people that Yuna somehow considered as a friend.

Just as what she expected to happen.

"Still acting like a princess after that news huh?"

"I know right. Doesn't she have any shame at all?"

"After the news broke out in the media, I guess she will no longer have any use in our group."

"Yeah, totally. Now that she's poor and doesn't belong in the socialite circle anymore, who would still want to befriend her in that state?"

"I wonder…"

Although Yuna tries her best to act tough on the outside, still, when it comes to people stabbing her on her back, she gets too numb from all the frustrations that she felt just by merely hearing them whispering about her.

Not just with her poor state that she won't gain friends anymore, but her intimidating appearance also makes it somehow impossible for her to make friends with anyone at all.

Yuna can't help but snicker inside her heart.

Friends? Who needs friends anyway when you can still survive on your own?

"Me! I would still be willing to be Yuna's friend!"

Yuna's eyes suddenly widened upon hearing that bold statement coming from a male student standing in front of her

When Yuna lifted her head to check who it was, she was actually surprised to see that boy whom she saved from a group of bullies the other day at the back of their school gym.

Wait, what is he doing here?

"I still wanted to be friends with her and be at her side no matter what happens…" that boy continued.

Before all the students could even react to this sudden touching declaration by this brave, nerdy-looking boy who was usually too shy to even speak out what's on his mind, this same male student grabbed hold of Yuna's right hand and took this opportunity to drag her out from all the students who are only there to insult her and watch her suffer

That same hand who held her hand two years ago was also the same hand that's currently holding hers.

And at that moment, Nakano Yuna felt her heart thumping loudly inside her chest for the second time around.
