Chapter 46 (A)

I decided to walk back home, rejecting Mateo’s offer to drive me back home. I wanted the time to think about everything that unfolded in the last two months. Looking back at it right now made me realize that I actually lived 20 years in the last two months.

I reached home taking an extra 20 minutes as I kept my pace slow and grabbed a cup of coffee from a café on my way back. I needed some caffeine in my body or I knew I wouldn’t be able to function. I went straight to my room without eating anything. The first thing I did after entering my room and throwing my bag on the bed was to grab the photo album that Ryan gifted me from under my clothes in the closet.
