"Interesting" Maximus had just finished listening to what the spy had told him about what the Martells were planning.

Aleanna was standing next to him wearing a white and gold Roman noble dress as she was thinking about the advantages of Getting an Alliance with the Martells and while there were a few advantages none of them were great.

"Unfortunately, I will have to decline their proposal since They disrespect me by asking me to marry Arianne Martell, who sleeps around with lots of men. Now if she didn't sleep around I might have gave the proposal another thought, but that fact alone makes me reject it" Maximus had felt that the Dorne thought too little of him for him to agree to such a proposal.

"I agree, I don't think this Arianne Martell will be worthy to join your Harem as we already have Daenerys and Aerela and me and adding Arianne won't be a good fit for you" Aleanna hearing about what type of person Arianne Martell was certainly didn't want her to be anywhere near Maximus

Maximus was looking at Aleanna surprised at what she had said and was even more surprised that she said he already had Daenerys and Aerela in his Harem since according to him, he didn't do anything with them yet.

"What do you mean, Daenerys and Aerela are in my Harem I haven't done anything with them" While he said this he was even more curious as to why Aleanna mentioned a Harem

"Well as the Emperor you are the most important person in the Empire and an Emperor needs lots of worthy women by his side who will help him run the Empire, help with his personal needs among other things. And with lots of women you will have lots of children who will carry on your bloodline" Aleanna had rubbed her stomach when she said the part about children But Maximus wasn't looking, so he didn't see it

"And even if you haven't done anything with Aerela and Daenerys it's only a matter of time since if they're not training with me then they are following you around the palace and offering to help with anything you need. They have even familiarized themselves with most of the Royal Guards and Aerela has become a capable warrior, though she still has a long way to go before she masters the sword, I give it a year or two before she fully masters it". Aleanna had seen how both Aerela and Daenerys followed Maximus around, and she has even spoken to them herself about the matter, and they made some sort of agreement between the three to only allow Pure Women around Maximus

Maximus did notice that both Aerela and Daenerys follow him around a lot, but he just thought it was because they were trying to help. He rubbed his head, since he has been so busy with running an Empire that he couldn't see what they were really trying to do.

"I guess you're right but if we do end up doing that than I will have to marry all three of you since as of now the public only knows that I am not married, but there are rumors here and there about me having my way with multiple women at once but since that is normal in Essos not many people cared. But sooner or later I will need to make an Heir" While the Empire was still in its early years of development having an heir would make sure that his bloodline continues in case something happens, and also it would be wise to have one now since in a few years he might be too busy to have one during wartime.

As Maximus was deep in thought about having an heir, a soldier came in to inform him that Oberyn Martell have arrived at the palace with a message from Doran Martell.

"I Have things to do here, so will you go and tell Oberyn my decision" Maximus had asked Aleanna to meet with Oberyn since he did have some things to do regarding some new projects that the Dwarven Engineers have come up with.

"It will be my pleasure" said Aleanna with a smirk on her face "Soldier bring Oberyn to a room I'll meet with him soon"

"Yes Ma'am" The soldier left to carry out the order

Aleanna headed to the door to leave and head to the meeting room. A couple of minutes later, Aleanna had entered the room where Oberyn was waiting.

Oberyn had looked at the door and seen a stunning beauty walking in wearing a White and Gold dress, "Such beauty" Oberyn was surprised as the beautiful woman came in and sat down in front of him.

"Oberyn Martell, this is the first time that we have seen each other and hopefully the last" said Aleanna "My Name is Aleanna, and I am a General in the Imperial Army and I have been tasked by the Emperor to meet with you in his place so don't waste my time and just give me the message" Aleanna didn't want to waste too much time talking to Oberyn

"This message is for the Emperor and even if he sent you in his place, can you make such a decision in his place" Oberyn didn't know why, but after he said that he felt that his life was in danger

"Lord Oberyn I assure you I am more than capable of making such a decision, so either give me the message or these guards here will escort you out of the palace" Aleanna wasn't here to play games nor will she allow Oberyn to speak with such disrespect in the palace

"fine here" Oberyn handed over the letter since he could feel the killing intent coming off the guards

Aleanna grabbed the letter and acted like she was reading it, since she already knew what the letter was about. After she was done, she balled the letter up and sat it on the table

"your request is rejected, Lord Oberyn" Said Aleanna

"We will give you more if that is what you want, how about some of my daughters who are skilled in combat" Oberyn tried to convince Aleanna to change her mind, but it was useless

"Trying to get an Alliance by offering up the hand of his daughter who spreads her legs for lots of men and then trying to offer up bastard children to marry the Emperor none of which are worthy it is truly disappointing that you would even offer her hand for marriage it is no different then marrying a Whore only this Whore has a noble status" Aleanna did not hold back against Oberyn

"If we have offended you then I apologize, but you must understand that we are only trying to get our revenge" Said Oberyn

"revenge for what" Asked Aleanna

"For our Sister" Yelled Oberyn

The Guards had put their hands on their swords, almost unsheathing them before A

Oberyn took a deep breath before he continued, "during Robert's Rebellion our Sister Ellia was raped and murdered by a Lannister knight and so were her two children murdered before they could even get a chance to grow. Because of Jon Arryn we didn't go to war immediately so For years, we have been plotting to overthrow Robert and destroy house Lannister but have yet to achieve it." Said Oberyn

"The secret marriage between Viserys and Arianne was going to be our key, but he was killed by your Emperor and now our only chance at getting revenge for Ellia was in that letter" Oberyn pleaded once again

"Sorry but the answer is still no, maybe next time you don't insult us by offering the hand of a whore to us" Aleanna said that last sentence as Oberyn was escorted out of the palace and returned to Sunspear.
