"You know of this, your majesty?"

"Yes, I know of them, yet that they are in the same place as me, that is unexpected..."

Aegis said to Moira, who observed the data that were taken from the oval-shaped device and its control panel they took after eradicating the flesh monster swarm and securing the surrounding with a new build base.

"What it is, I mean we know of its portal capabilities as the four humanoids used it to evade the flesh monster's, yet the very structure and its material are very foreign to our databases."

"...Astria Porta, or more and easily said and understood as a Stargate, is as you said, a one-way portal device that is connected to a network of more of its brethren's, and if I had to guess, there is more than millions of these device's through our entire galaxy..."

"Millions? Why... There was such empire or kingdom that enclosed this galaxy?"

Moira asked, dumbfounded by the sheer number of possible connected worlds and other celestial bodies.

"Empire? Kingdom... Ha... Hahahahaa..."

Aegis asked as he chuckled and laughed, but differently from his normal laugh with his close ones, this one made Moira Vahlen's skin crawl.

"No, no such thing, just very intelligent but very stupid race of cowards and short-sighted race that should be quarantined on one planet and not ever let by released to the wider universe from shire fear of contaminating other's of their stupidity..."

Aegis cruelly said as his mind went through all knowledge he had of this race, he didn't know if they were still alive, or if they bet with running away by ascending turned out well, but ultimately he didn't care, Aegis knew that even though all of their intelligence, Alterans were like children with a loaded gun...

A gun they couldn't even use well, even if they themselves invented it...

Still, Aegis knew that this Stargate was just the peak of the iceberg of problems they probably left behind as they ascended...

"I want that thing to be taken as seriously as our Rift portal, I want a full military base, I want walls around it, and I want hard-light barrier around it, just in case we need to blow it up."

Aegis said, of course, he already had plans to build a base on the moon or any other world as he knew that with how big the Stargate network was, there surely were more than thousands of very bad things on another side, and where his people knew how to use Rift portal they build, this Stargate was foreign, both in technology and use.

"As you wish, but can I ask for additional information on these things, especially the material this device is built from?"

Moira asked and Aegis looked at her for a while but then nodded with his head.

"Yes, I will have Album document all I say and send to you and all necessary personnel who need to know of this, one more thing, does Vacuo know of our find?"

"No, this desert is, a desert with no living souls that don't belong to us, the main reason if the high standard of showing of flesh monsters."

"Good... About that virus, how sure you are that these things could adapt in time?"

"Im ninety-nine percent sure that if the virus is released at the same time through our entire world on all needed locations, the virus should be capable of dissolving the flesh monsters, thus not being harmful to anything other than flesh monsters."

"Good, good, very well, you will have your information in five hours."

Aegis said as he made his way from the lab they were very in.

"Thank you, your majesty!"

Moira said and wanted to stop, but noticed that Aegis didn't leave and as she looked she saw him look at her with a smile she saw he made just for his close ones.

"And Moira... Good job..."

Aegis said with a smile as he left the lab, leaving shocked Moira to shake herself from her stupor.

"Thank you, my king..."

Moira mumbled under her breath as she felt newfound energy fill her as she threw herself back to her work...

As Aegis walked to his next destination with asking Album for contacting both Merlin and Morgana for meeting in one place, he thought or tried to remember things he knew of Alterans, which wasn't much as all he knew was from humans who met them, and most of them didn't have pleasant or kind memories of them as even though Alterans and Humans looked almost same, the truth couldn't more different.

Where Alterans were intelligent, they lacked drive, and their constant aloofness irritated humans who met them, their pacifism, or more likely the way of things made humans who met them dumbfounded, as Alterans, even if they could invent galaxy level weapons, lacked the right wisdom of how to use them, they lacked any strategic or tactical mind that they should have in their level of society...

In truth, fundamentally, the Alterans and Humans had a very different mindset, where humans were from the very start a curiosity-driven species, on the other hand, the Alterans had a near-constant tunnel-vision set, they could create wonders, but they lacked or didn't think of how they should use the thing they created, thus one of their biggest and most relevant mistakes...

The Stargate network they seeded throughout the universe, and that just brought more problems as they left it for primitives to fiddle with, thus stagnating the species or taking away the natural evolution...

"Hey there, husband king!"

"Your majesty."

Merlin and Morgana greeted Aegis who walked into the patio, Merlin with a gigantic smile and Morgana reserved as usual.

"Before I start with what I wanted, Merlin, please, stop giving Nora even more ideas."

Aegis said as he looked at the innocently grinning Merlin who lately seemed to take Nora as her pupil in chaos creation, their incidents were more funny or ridiculous than harmful, but Aegis didn't want to take any risk, especially when there was the combination of magic and Merlin and Nora in the same sentence...

"What? Me? Never!"

Aegis just looked at Merlin who seemed to ignore his gaze and just grin and shake his head.

"As you wish, but next time I will have Weiss thought of fitting punishment for you two... But to the matter at hand, are you two acquaintanced with a term of ascension, or higher plane of being's or similarly an energy being's?"

Aegis said and asked, as Merlin's face paled little at mentioning Weiss making up punishment, but stopped at she and Morgana became more interested in what Aegis said.

"Higher plane of being? Do you mean an Immaterial plane? No? Then another dimension that is intertwined with ours? Yes, that's what you mean, yes we know of such things, after all, Fey and such races like to hide their lands and homes in such way."

Morgana said and Merlin nodded.

"You can say that Throne of Heroes is one such thing, so we have more than enough knowledge of these things, but why do you want to know?"

"It's like this."

Aegis said as he started to tell to both women of Alterans and their ascendance...

"I see... Yes, that could be very problematic."

"Could?"

Aegis asked Morgana who nodded, but before she could continue, Merlin meddled into it.

"Yes yes, a COULD, as in, it isn't, not any longer, not for you or more likely a Remnant."

Merlin said with a big grin as Aegis made a gesture for her to continue.

"Don't you remember, even without Alaya, you have two other being's there, both beings the Death and Gaia, that make these other arrogant being's in higher planes not to dare to even come close to as they instinct probably screams at them a big DANGER."

"Ah... I see, do they know the Death, or Gaia?"

"Hmm, know is a strong word, no more likely they probably could feel them, or more likely feel that they would die the moment they come close to there, as it is from early age clear that the Death detest being that run from her in such way."

Morgana said and Aegis nodded but stopped.

"Hm, but I myself wish to gain immortality through the serum for both myself and my family."

"Ah, that wouldn't be a problem, I mean you still by a mortal even if you stop aging, the Death detest is mainly the thing's that run from her in such way as ascending, so even if she probably doesn't go hunting them, if they come close im very sure she would reap them."

Merlin said with a smile as she knew what she was saying very well as Throne of Heroes was the sole thing the Death didn't detest even though the heroes inside were very practically immortal...

After all, the Throne of Heroes was made by Will of Humanity that was like a cousin of the Death who is a concept, and as such, the Death sees the Throne of Heroes as just some white cells that protect the Will of Humanity from dying...

"And you have Gaia there, even if just still in infancy, her protective aura encloses this entire Solar system from any other immaterial being's, well, minus the ones you invited there with your Rift portal, these spirits are still more native there than ones such as Alterans who would be seen as foreign invaders to Gaia."

Morgana said and Aegis nodded, even if he had an entire treasury of knowledge, he still missed some things, as navigating through all knowledge and memories he held was truly an enormous task for him...
