The accuracy of Nie Li's archery was extremely high. The Giant Blue Armed Apes that were shot by him shrieked miserably.

Nie Li controlled his breathing and did all he could to further mask his presence. He then suddenly took out a huge object from the inventory and flinging it in the opposite direction.

The object was actually a human silhouette, that belonged to none other than Lue Dong. After a thorough investigation Nie Li found that he is a spy planted by one of the Family Elders of the Winged Dragon Family, Xiao Yi.

Xiao Yi was one of the great elders and Ninger uncle who lusts over the Patriarch seat. He made sure to keep Ninger in check with this little scheme of his. Although so far Lue Dong has never done anything to directly hurt her. He cannot be trusted and may backstab her, along with his knowledge of his trick against Scared Family, Nie Li decided to silence the man.

After breaking through to 1-Star Bronze Rank Demon Spiritualist, Nie Li's inventory space grew up to match that of a small room. Although the size was not very grand it is more than enough to store a human carcass.

He is in a comatose state due to Nie Li's poison and has faint breathing and life signs. As soon as the Giant Blue Armed Ape saw this body, they leaped to rip him apart.

Nie Li silently took advantage of his dexterity and carefully with the help of trees shades and cover he created some distance between them. Although the Spiritual grade Giant Blue Armed Ape was suspicious of his activities, Nie Li was able to somewhat confuse it enough with an alive weak presence body, to buy enough time and hightail out of the forest.

Nie Li ran and simultaneously retrieved a few poisoned arrow to take care of all the beasts scattered around to escape successful. His latest hits made little no scene, any beast didn't even had time to scream before it died from a critical hit and venomous poison.

Spiritual grade Giant Blue Armed Ape probably figured something out by now but without caring, Nie Li leaped, and bolted towards the forest.

The Nie Li continued to run and headed towards one one of his marked location. As the sky grew dark, roars of beasts could occasionally be heard from the depths of the forest, giving this place a little awe-inspiring atmosphere.

While running along with way, and avoiding the normal Giant Blue Armed Apes, the night deepened. If he were to continue moving forward, it would be easy for him to encounter dangers.

"There is still some distance left, I will rest for now. It could be dangerous to travel." Nie Li looked around the area and thought.

Although it's dark in the night, Nie Li still decided to scout this place before resting. He looked towards the distant dense forest, a shadow caught his eye.

"?" Nie Li ducked down and stealthily approached the premises.

"Seems to be a building!" Nie Li concluded with a slight frown. It should be a dilapidated building.

"Should I check it? It could have a cave or something for me to spend the night in!" Nie Li thought. He couldn't make out what the sculpture was since it had already collapsed.

Here vague remnants the civilisation before the Age of Darkness remained.

Nie Li made his way towards the statue to check it. As he went near, there was a stone tablet below the statue. Nie Li brushed off the dust on the surface and, with the aid of the moonlight, he was able to vaguely see some words on it.

"There is something written here, A. I. Chip Scan! " Nie Li commanded.

[Beep! Analysing complete! Words from the language of the Sacred Empire. Translation : Those who follows me, shall be honoured. Those who oppose me, shall be perished.]

"Sacred Empire Language huh! Then this quote should mean something, I don't think they were free enough to randomly write stuffs on statues and it is actually readable after such a long time passed, meaning the work was done fabulously."

Nie Li looked and observed the area around for a while, then after thinking for a moment he said loudly, "Those who follows me, shall be honoured. Those who oppose me, shall be perished."

Just when he was preparing to leave, Nie Li realised that the place that he is standing in was rapidly sinking in. His face remained emotionless as he smirked, 'Thought so!'

He immediately jumped straight and summoned a log out of his interspatial ring on his right index finger. The ground seemed to sink even more. A powerful suction sucked him downwards. The bottom seemed to be a bottomless abyss.

He positioned the log under his foot and the log slammed on the either side of the hole balancing him on the log. Nie Li stood with his arms wrapped before his chest and looked nonchalantly towards the abyss.

He had broken a secret area within the Ancient Orchid City.

Observing the things around him, Nie Li suddenly understood. The words that are written here must have some meaning behind them and then he decided to read them out loud and that turned out to be the "key" to open this place!

'Now that I have found such a secret place, I cannot just leave it like this. I must see for myself what this is about!' Nie Li thought as he took out a torch from his interspatial ring and lit it up. Using the light, he examined the surroundings but it was fully dark, the depth should be very high.

Nie Li shook his head and decided to enter the place, he calmly took the log inside his interspatial ring and began to climb inside. As for why is he carrying around a freaking log with him, that has to do with his soul force control exercises.

Nie Li climbed down for fifteen minutes and finally entered the bottom space, that looked like a maze.

He found a line of text on a stone wall by his side.

"Emperor Kong Ming's resting place," Nie Li murmured. He doesn't need to check the database to look for his information, Emperor Kong Ming was quite a figure in the history books and Nie Li has some recollection about him. It is recorded in the history of Sacred Empire that this particular emperor left the Sacred Empire in the middle of his rule and passed his throne to his son.

The most important thing that Nie Li remember about him and the thing that interested him the most was that he had cultivated to a frightening extent, becoming immortalized.
