Xu Je'er's Marriage

It was already nine in the evening when I finished my task. After making sure that my files are secured. I turned my computer off, grabbed my hard drives and laptop, and went out of my office.

I was surprised to see Xu Je'er standing outside.

"Do you want to have dinner?" she asked.

I nodded in response. Xu Je'er took me to a restaurant that we used to frequent when we were still in college. Since it was already late, there were fewer people around.

"My father wanted me to marry someone," Xu Je'er blurted after we made our orders. She downed the tea and poured herself another one. "Guess who?"

"Hm? I can't?" Aside from the fact that my knowledge is limited about the identities of the rich people in this city, I simply didn't care about them in the past.

"You really are boring," she snorted.
