Deep, Dead Denial (Poem)
How long has it been?
What year will the past repeat again?
Here lies the truth
Here begs the truth
Though people pass it by like a carnival booth
What has been written is written to stay
You cannot force reality to bend your way
What you think of is flawed
What you do is recalled
Under watch, value, and cause
He sees beyond the time
Far past every penny, nickel, and dime
What's destined to happen will happen
We are sailors and He is our Captain
He steers, enlightens, guides, and helps
More truthful than anyone else
And feelings don't need to be felt
When it comes to knowing the truth, you cannot change it. You cannot hide it. Somehow, it has a way of showing itself. And while we may feel some time of way, God does not lie. So whatever He says is true, IT IS. There is no changing it. Emotions do matter, but when it comes to the LORD, we must not let our reactions/stances cloud our vision. Because the devil will blind anyone who lacks belief. It is God who sets us free.
