Bai Ruiguang stood outside the courtyard, accompanied by his attendant, wearing a smile on his face.

Subconsciously, Hong Fang, Wu Zimo, and the others positioned themselves in front of Gu Chaoyan, casting wary glances at Bai Ruiguang.

In the past, a young master like Bai Ruiguang would have kept a considerable distance from them, fearful of being tainted by their lowly status. Now that he sought them out, they couldn't help but wonder what his intentions were.

Their eyes were fixed on Gu Chaoyan. Perhaps he had some scheme against her.
