Finally, the troublemakers were gone.

Lu Jingyi sighed. What a day. Although they were gone, Lu Jingyi didn't have the mood to continue eating.

The food became cold and Lu Jingyi expression became gloomy. The two troublemakers made her day worse. She blamed herself for attracting trashes.

Seeing Lu Jingyi was feeling down and blaming herself for ruining the dinner even though it was not really her, Mo Zhexuan signaled the waiter to serve up the dessert.

The waiter saw the signal and immediately went to the kitchen. Dessert on the tray, he walked until he reached Mo Zhexuan and Lu Jingyi.

"Mr Mo, Miss Lu, your dessert is served. Bon Appétit."

The waiter served the dessert and bowed professionally before walking away.

Lu Jingyi, who was feeling down a moment ago, immediately brightened up when the dessert was served.

"This dessert is the owner's specialty called the triple flavour ice cream. This ice cream was made with the love of the owner to his wife. These three flavour he invented was three out of five of his wife's favourite."

While Lu Jingyi was taste=tasting each flavour of the ice cream, Mo Zhexuan explained the origins of the ice cream.

"Wow, the owner was so romantic. His wife is lucky or should I say the owner was the lucky one. Hehe. This ice cream is delicious and unique. Each flavour was incredible. I never eaten something like this before."

Lu Jingyi eyes sparkled each bite she took. The bad mood was instantly wiped away and replaced with a blissful look of eating dessert.

Mo Zhexuan was relieved that she felt better. If not, he would find the two troublemakers and strangled them to death.

How dare they made his future wife sad!?

"Mo Zhexuan, about what we talked about, if you need help, just say so. I will cooperate until we can catch the mastermind."

"Of course. But, can you not call me by my full name. It sounds so distance. I feel like we're strangers."

Lu Jingyi was so embarrassed that she couldn't look him in the eye.

Jesus Christ. Her face was boiling and looked like a red tomato. She never thought calling one's name could be so difficult. Or maybe because it's him that she had difficulty to pronounce it.

Mo Zhexuan heard his name through a sweet, gentle and soft voice that was melting in his ears. He could listen to her calling his name all day.

"Good girl."

Mo Zhexuan smiled with a hint of mischievous. She looked cute when she was embarrassed.

G-good girl!? Was she a pet? Damn him for teasing her like that. She had nothing to retort. Boohoo...

The rest of the dinner was finished and they went for a walk hand in hand.

"Jingyi, it's been a month that you tried to date me. Is your answer ready?"

Lu Jingyi froze by the question. It's been that long? She was quite happy when she was with him. He always gave her a sense a security. Her heart always leaped uncontrollable towards him.

Then, Lu Jingyi stopped and turned her head to face Mo Zhexuan. She gave him the brightest smile.

"Yes. I'm ready. Although I can't say that I have fallen in love with you but I do like being with you. I feel touched by every action you made with full of details. Sometimes I feel like you know me better than I do. I get this feeling when I'm with you, there will be surprises and joy. So, all I know is that I want to be with you. Can you give some time to love you like you love me?"
