Chapter 239: Eighteen and Nineteen

"It's raining."

The sky was overcast outside, the air much cooler than the stifling heat of last night; it was pleasantly cool even without opening the windows.

Jiang He was playing with her phone without the fan on when she heard the noise at the window and turned to look. Fine raindrops were being blown onto the glass.

"Hmm, early autumn has come."

Xu Qing thought about the date; Yan would be starting school soon and wouldn't be able to do homework with Jiang He anymore.

"I'm going out for a walk." Jiang He stretched lazily and stood up to put on a coat in the bedroom.

It was merely a notification; Xu Qing didn't respond verbally. Waiting until she had put on her coat and come out, Xu Qing then tilted her head to look at the weather outside, "Going out in the rain?"

"To see Pingping."

"Oh."

She took an umbrella and left. Outside, the rain was light, just enough to wet the ground.
