"I want you to tell your mum about Sharon," I said, after a few seconds of silence. Now that l learned about his family rule, I am anxious to know what his mum's reaction would be.

It's not anything really, it was Best I know where I stand. I am already seeing red flag and it was best to break up if the relationship will be just for the sake of it. 

"Okay, I will tell her," Ray ready agreed after a short pause. I was surprised he agreed.

"I mean now, today," I decided to push my luck.

Ray pause looking into my eyes intensely.

"I want to tell her as soon as possible, but I want to wait till after the election. Mum, is quite busy and I don't want her worrying about me," He told me.

The election is three months away, I did not want to wait that long but again, it was better now that he was willing to tell her.
