Chapter 24: Farewell

‘For how long has she been waiting there? I started walking away and lost my track! Geez!’

Kai began running to the exit as fast as he could.

‘She must have done that as a silly joke. I bet she appeared there right after I left, too…’

Angry with himself, Kai even enhanced his trackback with the orgaion to show some effort. He descended the elevator all the way to the first, went through the exit, passing through the giant set of stairs in the front, and contoured back the building. All to find Aimee standing there with her usual expressionless face.

“You are back...” She said, drily.

“Aimee, sorry… I…”

“That’s fine. I knew you would do it.”

“What…?”

“In fact, I brought you here because I knew you would. If I’m being honest with you… There is no way you can learn dreaming now. It would be starting the orgaion training from the end. Of course you wouldn’t be able to get back.”

Kai opened his mouth and shut again. He didn’t know what to say.
