Barristan could only sigh in relief. He then gave Edward a grateful look for helping Rhaegar.

"Thank you, Lord Baratheon. And congratulations on winning. It was a great match." Said Barristan with a smile. He was really impressed by Edward's last move that caused all this situation.

"It is nothing, Ser Barristan." Said Edward with a friendly smile.

"Let us move here and leave Lord Baratheon to celebrated his victory." Said Rhaegar with a smile to his confidants. He did not wish to stay longer in the field and prevent Edward from celebrating because of him.

"I am grateful for your consideration, your highness, but allow me to at least take you to the waiting area." Said Edward trying to sound friendly as possible. He had to do so as he was the one who injured him. Plus, Edward was also the organizer of this event, so how could he let the prince walk alone.

Rhaegar could only nod after hearing this. He did not want to refuse Edward anymore, so he allowed Edward to take him to the waiting area.

While no one was questioning Edward's motive, Jon was looking at Edward's back with hostility. He thought of many possibilities after seeing the prince's fall and assumed the worst. He would have to discuss his thoughts with the prince, but he was afraid that Rhaegar would dismiss him.

'Maybe he wanted to kill the prince as he did to Ronald. That is treason, and he should get punished for it. How dare he injure the prince and try to kill him? He became really daring after all this time. It is all because of the prince's trust.' Thought Jon to himself as he was looking at Edward with hatred in his eyes.

The speaker, seeing this scene in front of him, decided to announce the result. He tried to reassure the crowd first.

"Everyone, calm down. The prince is fine now. Lord Edward is taking him to the waiting area where he would receive proper treatment." Said the speaker as he saw the terrified look on the crowd's eyes.

Hearing the speaker's words, the crowd calmed down a little. They got frightened for a moment as they thought that it might be another death. And that was the prince, not some noble nor a knight.

After they calmed down a little, the crowd remembered the epic fight that happened minutes ago. They stored their cheering mode and started shouting and screaming loudly, cheering for Edward.

The speaker took this chance and tried to excite the crowd even more after seeing Edward returning from escorting the prince out. It was his time to shine.

"And here, the winner of Jousting in this tournament, the mighty Stag, the golden spear, and the organizer of this tournament, Lord Edward Baratheon." Said the speaker as he was literally shouting as hard as he could to show his excitement. He was receiving good pay after this tournament, so he had to do a good job.

"Mighty Stag!!! Mighty Stag!!!" Shouted the crowd as they were cheering as loud as they could. It was a glorious night. Lord Baratheon defeated the champions of the other tournaments. Not only he won in Jousting, but also in melee competition.

It took some time for the crowd to calm down again. And at the moment, it was the awards time.

Edmond Buckler, Edward's Steward who supervised this tournament, came down followed by three men. Each one of those men carried something different. The first held a bag of gold dragons, the supposed fifty thousand gold dragons. The second displayed a dagger on a cushion as he moved forward. This dagger was made from Valyrian Steel. As for the third, he was carrying a crown on a pillow. The crown looked unique with all those gyms embedded into it.

The speaker started to speak again. He wanted to show everyone the value of these prizes.

"The first reward is fifty thousand gold dragons. I know it is not much for you, Lord Baratheon, but you are the one who chose them." Said the speaker trying to make a joke in the middle getting some laugher from the crowd.

If anyone did not know about Edward's new wealth before the tournament, if he did not see it after he came, then he was an idiot. The glass, the food, the wine, the drinks, and the paved roads were all there to prove that Edward was really wealthy at the moment.

Edward smiled a little after hearing the speaker's comment and decided to use this chance to increase his reputation.

"I do not need this some of the coins. Although I did a lot to the Smallfolks in Stormsland, there are many of them out there. This sum of coins would be used on orphans and projects that would provide word and food for those who do not." Shouted Edward as loud as he could. Would he let such a chance to advertise to himself without using it?

After hearing Edward's words, the crowd started to cheer for him again. They were really excited about having such a lord who would do whatever he could for them. Life in Stormsland was a lot comfortable than the rest of the kingdoms. At least, no one would die from hunger or cold anymore.

Those who were from the six kingdoms started having the thought of moving to Stormsland. They wanted to receive such benefits as well.

"I think everyone would be grateful to you, my lord. Now let's head to the next prize. A dagger that is not any other dagger. An unnamed dagger made from Valyrian Steel." Said the speaker as he introduced the dagger.

The crowd started cheering again when Edward took the dagger out. It was the famous and shining Valyrian Steel.

The speaker, who wanted to excite the crowd, even more, turned to Edward. He wanted to ask him about a name for the dagger.

"Give it a name, my lord. And let everyone witness this event." Said the speaker as he looked at Edward then back to the crowd.

Edward was surprised a little as he never thought that he would have to name the dagger after receiving it. He had to find a name for it at the moment.

After thinking for a minute, Edward came up with a suitable name for a dagger.

"I will name it 'LastNight.'." Said Edward after some thought. It was a perfect name for a dagger used for an assassination.

"It is a great name, my lord. And now to the third prize. A crown made only from pure gold and different gyms. It is said that its value is equal to a city in the Reach. Edward Baratheon made it himself. Who is the lucky girl that Lord Edward would put this crown on her head?" Said the speaker as he introduced the valuable crown to everyone. He looked at everyone, trying to excite them, especially the girls. But most of them knew who this girl was.

Everyone in the crowd was shocked by its value. Even some lord felt envious at the moment. Did not that mean that this crown was more valuable than their territory?

"I promised one girl that I would win this crown for her. Now, I fulfilled this promise." Said Edward to everyone as he rode his horse towards the booth near the field.

The booth's window was opened, and everyone could see the most beautiful girl smiling as she was looking at Edward.

Edward came close while smiling. It was finally the time to get this marriage done.

"This crown is for the queen of my heart. This girl is my betrothed, Ashara Dayne. We are going to have our wedding ceremonies tomorrow. I invite everyone here to attend our wedding." Said Edward as he put the crown on Ashara's head and kissed her.

It was a touching moment for everyone in the crowd. Everyone was also excited as Edward invited everyone that meant he also welcomed the Smallfolks.

After Edward put the crown on her head, Ashara nearly lost herself for a second there. She nearly jumped out of the window as she wanted to eat him up. This moment was the most exciting moment in her life. Would any lord or a prince do the same for his lover? No, only her love, Edward, would do something like that for her.

Enjoy.
