A Bug Under A Magnifying Glass

"Well, it worked," Matthew announced as he came back inside. "I'm afraid I don't have any ideas on how to conduct similar tests on Jayden since his powers aren't continually activated."

Leta sighed. "I was afraid of that. What am I supposed to do then?"

"We could do trial and error from a distance. This will be a bit inconvenient but I could give you a list of potential frequencies to try and show you how to program them on the mini EEG before you leave. If he has another episode, you'll know it didn't work and can try another one."

"What if none of them work?"

"Then you'll have to come back to see me so I can investigate further and come up with another list. I apologize for the inconvenience but I can't think of any way to get this done today."

"That's not ideal," Leta said honestly. "Would it be possible to bring him back on a weekend? I work during the week and can't ask for more time off any time soon."
